Typical place to eat in Verona, highly recommended. Very good dishes and not small portions. Friendly staff and welcoming environment. Maybe the prices a little high.

We went to this restaurant with some friends and had appetizers and first courses, specifically I had a pear and cheese tart and their amarone risotto with truffle, both extremely good, to be recommended.

Very central, it offers very well prepared traditional local cuisine. The place is rather cramped but clean and tidy. Not particularly friendly staff, whose behavior borders on rudeness. Good portions and reasonable prices.

Hostaria Vecchia Fontanina is a lovely rustic restaurant in the centre of Verona. It has a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the food is excellent, especially the traditional Veneto dishes that reflect the region's culinary heritage. We had the risotto all'Amarone - a large portion enough for a whole meal. The service is friendly and attentive. The staff is always ready to help with recommendations and share their knowledge of the menu.

All the dishes we ordered were very, very tasty! We were very well looked after. They looked after us and asked if everything was OK. Recommended!

Ottime materie prime, noi abbiamo preso due primi e due secondi rimanendo molto soddisfatti. Nota di merito per le guanciotte all’Amarone, provatele se avete occasione. Unica pecca: i piatti alle volte arrivano con tempistiche differenti, nel nostro caso è arrivato uno dei due primi e poi a distanza di 10 min l’altro. Abbiamo notato che questo accadeva anche per altri tavoli. Sarebbe ottimale uscissero contemporaneamente per iniziare a mangiare assieme senza aspettare e rischiare che una delle portate si raffreddi. Per il resto molto soddisfatti.
