We arrived at this restaurant based on the reviews, it turned out to be an excellent choice. All the food was excellent and of high quality, the staff were friendly and the prices were fair, considering that we are in the center of Verona. We will definitely be back

We decided to have lunch here because of its strategic location in our pedestrian itinerary of the center of Verona as well as for the offer of typical local dishes, such as bigoli (a type of typical local pasta) with horse ragù and pastissà di cavallo (horse meat served with polenta), tiramisu, etc. The expectation on the quality of the food induced by the excellent reviews was not disappointed, we ate very well, with generous portions and at very honest prices (we had only one other experience of a restaurant in Verona during our 24-hour stay, but we thought we could see that this place has an excellent quality/price ratio compared to the city average). Kind, friendly, precise service, excellent choice of wines, nothing to complain about, everything went perfectly.

Old Veronese tavern in the historic center, very welcoming and organized. But above all a 6-star Amarone risotto. Good value for money. Almost impossible on weekends without booking

I went to dinner on Friday night with my boyfriend, warm atmosphere and typical tavern, courteous and super kind staff. We ordered, by mistake, the bigoli alle ortiche and the ricotta gnocchi, but we fell on our feet because they were both excellent. We tried to make a change of first course to get the risotto but by then the pasta was cooked. The waiter however did not leave us with a bitter taste in our mouths and brought us a portion of risotto all'amarone which was spectacular. Absolutely worth it

A typical Italian cantina, with good, traditional food. We were served without waiting and our choice was the dish of the day, very good, see the photos. Pasta a matriciana and beef steak as a second course. Next time I'll try the polenta.

Tried the fixed menu, excellent cost, top quality/price ratio. Service not always smiling, but it's worth going there!

Good place to eat, there is a menu for 15 euros from Monday to Friday, five starters and five seconds to choose from, we also have coffee, good service, good food and a clean bathroom, what more could you ask for?

Ottime materie prime, noi abbiamo preso due primi e due secondi rimanendo molto soddisfatti. Nota di merito per le guanciotte all’Amarone, provatele se avete occasione. Unica pecca: i piatti alle volte arrivano con tempistiche differenti, nel nostro caso è arrivato uno dei due primi e poi a distanza di 10 min l’altro. Abbiamo notato che questo accadeva anche per altri tavoli. Sarebbe ottimale uscissero contemporaneamente per iniziare a mangiare assieme senza aspettare e rischiare che una delle portate si raffreddi. Per il resto molto soddisfatti.
