Hostaria La Serra In Massafra

We had a very nice dinner at Hostaria La Serrra. Very nice fresh seasonal products and very good service. Certainly a place to go back to.

I was looking for a place to have lunch and stumbled upon this osteria. The place is beautiful, warm, and welcoming; it makes you feel right at home. The staff is friendly. Antonio, in the dining room, inspires trust and feels like you've known him forever; Romina is the queen of the kitchen (which is open to the public, so another plus because you can see everything that's going on). I was lucky enough to sit at the table next to the kitchen, and watching the relationship between the two was pure fun, filled with laughter and jokes. The food was excellent: two plates of delicious orecchiette, one with sauce and meatballs, the other with zucchini flowers, cacio ricotta, and pancetta—spectacular! You absolutely have to come… and they have Calabrian chestnuts ;)!

What can I say? Wonderful, always a kind and attentive welcome, top-notch food... Antonio is a force of nature. Thank you for everything.

If you want to sample local delicacies paired with an excellent selection of meats, this is the place to be. You'll also find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere thanks to the owner and staff's professionalism. Highly recommended.

Culinary-wise, the quality of everything we were served was very good. The chef is very attentive and a good salesman. However, the quantity/price ratio left something to be desired for some dishes. For example: the rib-eye steak was clearly under 300g, and the portion of Orichiette sold for €13 was smaller than a portion sold for €5 the day before in a restaurant in Taranto.

Did not really know what we were getting but it was all delicious and authentic Italian. Host was lovely and engaging, and looked after us very well. Price was good and we were given a complimentary limoncello. Overall, very good and would recommend 👌

The host is kind, welcoming, professional, and very attentive to his customers. The food: excellent and varied appetizers, spectacular meat, and very good wine. This is a place you'll want to return to again and again.

Perfect Having stumbled upon this region by chance, we were lucky enough to discover this small restaurant, with a menu of local and seasonal products perfectly blended into delicious local recipes. Very good wines, a passionate host. I recommend it for a pleasant stay.

Conocimos por primera vez a Antonio (el propietario) mientras nuestro SatNav nos conducía a un alegre baile. Nos detuvimos fuera de Hosteria y le pedimos instrucciones. A pesar de que íbamos a cenar con un competidor, saltó en su coche para mostrarnos el camino. ¡Qué bondad! Volvimos un par de noches después, disfrutamos de una hospitalidad excepcional (un saludo especial a la hija de Antonio, Julia, que nos hizo sonreír) , y buena comida y vino. Hay una alcoba maravillosa con una sola mesa. Lo disfrutamos tanto, que reservamos para una cena de repetición la noche siguiente. Tu amabilidad te hizo ganar negocios, Antonio - y tu comida, vino y hospitalidad nos trajo de vuelta por más.
