I've eaten at the restaurant twice already and it's always been a pleasant and tasty experience. This time, in October, the entire menu was autumn-themed. Pumpkin, chestnuts, and mushrooms. Everything made with love and skill. We had the tasting menu and I have to say it was excellent, plentiful (too much, I'd say, we "gave up" on the main course) and the desserts were delicious. We'll be back.

Fantastic journey! We chose the tastes menu curated by the chef and it was quite a ride, The theme was fall, and the tables were decorated with pumpkins. We got creative tasty starters, all fall themed and different colored dishes, wonderful meats tray, main dishes were great, amount were crazy! Lots and lots of good food. Desserts were mouthwatering! The chef is passionate and the service is exceptional. Wonderful experience!

Amazing food, one of the most extensive and best curated wine lists I’ve ever seen in a restaurant of that price range and a very friendly, knowledgeable, hospitable host - the best dining experience we had at Lago Maggiore.

A very well-kept restaurant with a lake view, excellent cuisine, and a friendly, helpful owner. If you want to be pampered from appetizer to dessert, I recommend stopping by.

Highly recommended! We booked an overnight stay and specified an approximate time of arrival. Unfortunately, there were delays, and we arrived much too late, around 11:20 p.m. The hosts were so kind and waited for us. The restaurant was already closed, and we wouldn't have had anything else to eat. The host then went out of his way to prepare a delicious meal and even served us dessert! I highly recommend this accommodation and the restaurant; a perfect location right on the lake, delicious food, and a lovely room with a bathroom!

An absolute gem on Lake Maggiore. Great location, I'd say the best hotel in town. Our room was small but nice with a great view. It was clean, of course, and had a coffee machine and a small refrigerator. Carrying our suitcases up two flights of stairs was a challenge, though. But the food, combined with the service, was top-notch. We'd be skeptical of a star rating. 🤩👍🏼Exceptional cuisine, above standard Italian cuisine. Very fair value. We'll definitely be back. Thanks to the team.

09/10/2025: I had a truly wonderful stay! The two hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming – their hospitality made me feel right at home from the very beginning. Everything I needed was provided, and the place was perfectly equipped for a comfortable and relaxing visit. I couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommended – I would definitely come back!
22/08/2025: The property is very welcoming, just a few minutes from the airport (so convenient), although arriving late at around 11:00 PM was a bit dark... instructions were given to us by text message. Breakfast was already in the room (pastries, rusks, butter, jam (single-use boxes), just 2 slices of toast (which couldn't be reheated), 2 fruit juices, 2 small bottles of water, and coffee). The room is equipped with a coffee machine, refrigerator, fan, and air conditioning. Despite being a tavern, we had no contact with the owner except via text messages. Having paid online, the invoice was in the room. Everything was functional and suited to our needs... but unfortunately, also a bit impersonal... in the sense that it avoids contact with people... perhaps the thing that, besides the decor, is the breakfast items, is what really sticks in your mind about a place... but mine is just an opinion... anyway, recommended.
