Great restaurant with excellent food and service The ambiance from the balcony is beautiful, and you can admire the sunset.

Highly recommended! We booked an overnight stay and specified an approximate time of arrival. Unfortunately, there were delays, and we arrived much too late, around 11:20 p.m. The hosts were so kind and waited for us. The restaurant was already closed, and we wouldn't have had anything else to eat. The host then went out of his way to prepare a delicious meal and even served us dessert! I highly recommend this accommodation and the restaurant; a perfect location right on the lake, delicious food, and a lovely room with a bathroom!

An absolute gem on Lake Maggiore. Great location, I'd say the best hotel in town. Our room was small but nice with a great view. It was clean, of course, and had a coffee machine and a small refrigerator. Carrying our suitcases up two flights of stairs was a challenge, though. But the food, combined with the service, was top-notch. We'd be skeptical of a star rating. 🤩👍🏼Exceptional cuisine, above standard Italian cuisine. Very fair value. We'll definitely be back. Restaurant located in a somewhat anonymous building, it is difficult to understand whether it is open or not and where you enter from. Surprisingly, however, we are greeted by a waiter who accompanies us into the simple and well-kept room. Quite a varied menu, with meat and fish options, we chose the lake resident. As an appetizer we focus on tasting fish from Lake Maggiore, a truly refined dish with refined flavours; as a first course, we chose the whitefish risotto, with lemon and liquorice powder, very good and delicate; finally, for the second course we opted for double-cooked octopus with chicory and anchovies, simple and delicious crunchy. In summary: refined dishes and flavours, very attentive service, with clear attention to the customer. Once we get the bill, we can define the prices as normal, a restaurant definitely worth trying (and returning).

Ero già stato diverse volte in questo locale e mi ero trovato sempre bene. Solo una volta circa due anni fa a giugno, era andata male per circostanze non ben chiare. Avevamo mangiato male e c’era un caldo impossibile. Ieri sera avevamo deciso di dare un’altra possibilità, anche perchè il locale è molto accogliente intimo e con una bella vista sul lago. C’è stata sicuramente una revisione del menù con piatti davvero eccellenti. In più devo segnalare che per accontentarmi lo chef ha creato un primo fuori menù spettacolare. Una carbonara di lavarello con ravioli. A seguire rombo e polipo degni di nota. Il tutto accompagnato da un vermentino Argiolas Costamolino. Complimenti anche per l’infinita scelta di vini.

Accolti anche dopo l orario previsto di chiusura , questo è da apprezzare. I piatti nel menù sono particolari .Abbiamo provato un antipasto denominato Bis di lumache all aglio nero fermentato e al gorgonzola , assaggi di pesce di lago caldi e freddi . Come secondo filetto Rombo con Carciofi ed un ottimo dolce. Il locale ha una stupenda vista lago , e l arredamento molto carino.
