We ate here twice during our week stay in Verbania. With three people, the food and service was excellent. Fresh ingredients and tasty and good price. With large group, the service was not so great. Many in our party were done eating while others were still waiting for their plates. They cannot really accommodate a large group. Food is good for price.

Excellent food, shame about the service. The person serving us was rude and quite impolite from the moment we arrived. It almost seemed like he was rushing us to vacate our table.

Locale con vista , molto informale . Menù un po’ turistico con vari piatti della tradizione italiana non tipica del posto . Primi a prezzi molto onesti ma sopratutto molto molto abbondanti , grazie al consiglio del cameriere abbiamo diviso una porzione di gnocchi ( circa 200gr), linguine vongole e cozze e calamarata . Mezzo litro di vino , due acque , 4 dolci ( buonissimi , fatti in casa e veramente eccezionali : soufflé al cioccolato , due cheesecake e un budino ) totale 85 euro . Consigliato per cena veloce , senza troppe pretese però buono e davvero abbondante .

Locale sul lungolago, noi siamo stati fatti accomodare nella saletta all'ingresso, un po' triste obbiettivamente ma il locale era pieno e giustamente i tavoli più "capienti" nelle altre sale andavano riservati ad altri numeri di clienti. Cibo non cattivo ma neanche buono, il fatto che le porzioni siano enormi compensa probabilmente per molti la qualità, che ripeto non è sicuramente sgradevole, ma non si può dire che renda felice il palato. Prezzi in proporzione alla zona e alla quantità di cibo sicuramente concorrenziali. Servizio... Sporadicamente gentile, più che altro molto scazzo da parte di tutti i camerieri. Alcune scene poco piacevoli a mio modo di vedere, camerieri che fumavano sigaretta elettronica in mezzo al locale ( se stai servendo in un ristorante e vuoi fumare, e lo dico da fumatore, esci 3 minuti che fai più bella figura) e, non so se propietario o dipendente, seduto su un tavolo a pochi metri da noi con i piedi sulla sedia che fumava sigaretta elettronica guardando il cellulare. Io personalmente mi sono sentito abbastanza a disagio. Non torneremo sicuramente.
