We choose to have dinner at the Blue Grotto in Gallarate the evening before the departure of our trip, as it is close to our B&B. Nice place with large rooms, good service and excellent pizza (we chose to eat pizza even though the fish reigns supreme...next time).

We go there from time to time, especially when we are on duty at our headquarters in Via degli Aceri in Gallarate. Some of us feel "almost at home" here, among the friends of the Blue Grotto - Personally, I have been there four/five times either to enjoy the pizza or for a "simple" "business" lunch... or rather, with the proposals of the day. I have always had a good time and have always left the place completely satisfied. Tasty food, well cared for and well plated. Here, in my opinion, you're going without fail. The pizzas are really good right from the dough. Never "soggy" or with excess seasoning which then makes the pasta seem raw; in short, whatever pizza you choose (based on your tastes) the result is excellent. Now I don't remember what the name of the one I chose was called (peasant? peasant??? I don't know) in short, pizza with spicy salami, black olives and grilled peppers... believe me, a real lust for flavours... too good and also very digestible . To be at the TOP I would have also added a little garlic :) but this is a little perversion of mine. Unfortunately I forgot to ask for the addition (to the extreme delight of my fellow diners). Impeccable service Friendly and helpful staff Prices normal Should we go back? Of course yes and if you happen to be in the area, don't miss making an award-winning stop at this place. Truly GOOD.
