Historic restaurant in the heart of the city center with plenty of seating, spread across several rooms, some of which are frescoed! Excellent Umbrian cuisine, including Norcia specialties, prepared with top-quality ingredients (the aroma of the mixed cured meat platter will be hard to forget). Highly recommended!

A unique experience, with 16th-century frescoes, rooms faithfully restored with meticulous attention to detail, and top-quality, sublime food. I expected sky-high prices, but instead, everything was perfect. The staff welcomed us, making us feel at ease with our dog (28 kg, but calm). The service was very attentive to our allergies and our needs. I will gladly return. It also has an on-site hotel, spectacular! Thank you, Mr. Mario, for everything you did for us last night. Love from all of us ❤️

Bei unserem Aufenthalt in Norcia hatten wir das Abendessen und das Frühstück im Restaurant Grnaro del Monte. Nach einer längeren Sanierung wurde es frisch am alten Standort wieder eröffnet. Es ist eines der ältesten Restaurant von Umbrien und sogar von Italien und sehr gut. Vor die Freundlichkeit des Personal ist bemerkenswert. Gerne wieder

Un posto incredibile nel cuore di Norcia. Arredi stupendi! Cordialità del personale. Per non parlare della qualità del cibo davvero ottima! Zuppe e insalata di lenticchie e farro deliziose a dir poco.. lo stesso della pasta alla norcina, dell’abbondante tagliere di formaggi e degli stinchi Prezzi super onesti

06/10/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant on Saturday evening based on the reviews. The experience far exceeded our expectations. The place has a lot of character, and the choice of furnishings and certain small details reflect and characterize the taste and choices of this place. You can't help but be impressed by the small touches that undoubtedly define the experience. We ate some first courses and traditional local food. In particular, the tortelloni with creamed asparagus turned out to be a very good dish, where the different ingredients helped to enhance the flavors. The beef fillet was truly amazing. The wine was excellent, and the service was very discreet and attentive. Everything was characterized by extreme simplicity. The owners of this restaurant welcomed us with utmost simplicity and attention, proving that sometimes, to offer a high-quality experience, you don't need to emphasize certain aspects of the service. It was a wonderful experience, and I believe it was one of the best restaurants I've ever been to.

Al tartufo

15/10/2025: We return to this restaurant after a few years, and the atmosphere and hospitality have not changed. We listen carefully as Lorenzo explains the menu and decide on the classic truffle menu, of course. We pair our dishes with a Montefalco. We end the evening with a pleasant surprise: since there's no dessert on the menu, they let us choose: tiramisu 😋. A beautiful and delicious return.
14/10/2025: An elegant restaurant, with very attentive staff (the complimentary liqueur at the end was much appreciated), and I must say, very attentive to their friends too. Remarkable quality dishes, and they definitely don't skimp on the use of truffles. PS: I'd return to Perugia just to try those truffle ravioli again.
