Goffredo Ristorante Osteria in Terrazza In Conversano

I'm giving away a 3-course dinner voucher for €32 per person for my parents. I ask them to pay in advance for at least the water, which costs €2.50 on the menu. They charge me €42 per person with water and €50 per person for wine (a glass of wine is €5 on the online menu)... do you think you're smart?? Obviously, I only order the two €32 menus, and in the end, water and beer come to €6.50 each, so much less... Let's move on to the food: €32 for a tiny shrimp tartare, a peppered mussel dish (which retails for less than €5 per kilo), tagliolini with mussels and clams, and a cannuolo/sporcamuss (pizza dessert) for dessert; slow and disorganized service (there was one table that didn't get the first courses because they were sent to another table).

Good food, good environment. The night waiter that wear glasses (Alessandro) is very kind and welcoming.

We've been to this restaurant, and it must be said that the food is excellent: traditional local dishes, made with quality ingredients and with a care that belies the high level of cuisine. But the real plus of the restaurant—what makes it a unique experience—is undoubtedly Alessandro, the waiter. Alessandro is not only knowledgeable and attentive, but a true character: histrionic, friendly, knowledgeable, and capable of engaging guests with detailed explanations and passionate stories about the dishes, the region, and much more. His presence is not intrusive, but an integral part of the pleasure of dining!

Siamo stati in questo ristorante e c'è da dire che si mangia bene: piatti della tradizione locale, realizzati con ingredienti di qualità e con una cura che denota un alto livello di cucina. Ma il vero plus valore del locale – ciò che lo rende un’esperienza unica – è senza dubbio Alessandro, il cameriere ai tavoli. Alessandro non è solo competente e attento, ma è un vero personaggio: istrionico, simpatico, competente, capace di coinvolgere i clienti con spiegazioni dettagliate e racconti appassionati sui piatti, il territorio e molto altro. La sua presenza non è invadente ma è parte integrante del piacere della cena!
