The food is very good. We had two pizzas: one with ham, and one with ham and mushrooms, both Neapolitan-style. We also had spaghetti bolognese and carbonara, also very good. For the price, between 7 and 20 euros, it was very good. The service was very friendly, asking if we needed anything.

The pizza is excellent, and the place is very nice and quiet. The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly.

We went to Gennaro e Pia for lunch during our stay in Bergamo, and we absolutely loved it! This pizzeria restaurant in the center of Bergamo had been recommended to us, and it was a great choice. Open since 1972 and run by its owners, one of whom told us the whole story of how his parents founded the restaurant and their wood-fired oven, which has been in operation ever since! The food was incredible—the best Neapolitan pizza we ate during our entire stay in Italy. The dough was soft and slightly crunchy. We ordered provola e pepe, a 10. We then shared a grilled seafood mix, which was exquisite, along with two portions of different desserts to try, and a pink grapefruit sorbet that was incredible! I would honestly travel to Bergamo to eat at this pizzeria restaurant again, as not only the food, but the atmosphere and the warmth of the staff made us feel right at home.

We've been to this Bergamo restaurant twice during our trip and were very satisfied. We highly recommend this place, as the value for money is good, especially the menu. The food is also made with fresh ingredients. This restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere, as it's not in the city center, in a crowded area, but in a quiet area with good bus connections from the train/bus station. Finally, this place stands out for its friendly, approachable customer service, where every detail is appreciated. Without a doubt, it has become a must-visit spot for us in Bergamo, and we'll definitely be back again. Thank you to the staff for making our stay in Bergamo even better. Greetings from Barcelona.

Quelle belle découverte à proximité de notre hôtel ! Nous avons tellement aimé que nous y sommes retournés deux fois de suite . Nous avons pu découvrir des spécialités comme le risotto aux myrtilles (que nous avons depuis refait chez nous ) ou encore le poisson en croûte de pistache . L'assiette de fruits fe mers était également délicieuse. Attention cependant : la carte touristique (beaucoup moins originale ) n'etait pas la même que la carte italienne ! (Nous nous en sommes aperçus car mon conjoint a réservé une fois en italien directement auprès du restaurant et une autre fois en anglais par téléphone : nous avons du demander à changer pour avoir la carte italienne . )

It's the first time I've been to Bergamo. I stayed for about 20 days, I always had lunch or dinner in this place/house where I felt familiarity (I'm Calabrian)... a splendid "refuge" in quality food, genuine hospitality... they are all wonderful (owners/waiters...) but above all the Lady (one of the owners of the restaurant) is wonderful. A very dynamic/multitasking woman.

Sono stata per la prima volta a cena in questo ristorante per festeggiare il compleanno di mia suocera, locale spazioso e sicuramente ristrutturato da poco; abbiamo ordinato sia pizza che piatti di carne ed era tutto squisito! Pizza tipica napoletana con cornicione ben fatta e i dolci buonissimi!! Camerieri disponibili e gentili! Sicuramente tornerò a provare i piatti di pesce! Se siete a Bergamo è un ristorante da provare! Complimenti allo staff e alla proprietaria che ho visto darsi molto da fare durante tutto il servizio.
