I've always been someone who always ordered the same flavor at every gelato shop, but every time I come to Parma, I go to Al Polo and I'm amazed. Here, I naturally want to try new flavors and surprising combinations, recommended with a smile and expertise.

Excellent gelato, you can taste the ingredients perfectly, which is very rare. Fair price and generous portions.
I'd go back to try all the flavors!
The texture alone is unique, different from other gelato shops; I'd say it's smoother and softer. Kudos to the owners for the incredible combinations of ingredients in the flavors! (For example, there are some flavors that include cheese, like robiola; it's brilliant.)

One of the best gelatos I've ever had.
The gelato shop offers classic flavors as well as more unusual ones. I was truly amazed by some of the combinations of ingredients used.
The quality and price were excellent.
I had a cone with three flavors; it was generous and had a super crunchy wafer.
The owners are incredibly kind, and you can tell their product is the result of passion and love. Congratulations!

Recently renovated, this welcoming, and tastefully decorated restaurant offers an open-air counter, a chalkboard with the daily specials, and a few tables outside, protected by planters.
Street-level entrance with a small step. The terrace adjacent to the door is level.
The service is excellent. Friendly service, a constant smile, and genuine helpfulness: they describe the flavors, suggest pairings, and you can tell they're passionate about the product. Excellent organization, even with people queuing.
The first time I went, I had a warm zabaglione and it made me want to return; the second time, a zabaglione affogato. Sublime.

A top gelato shop in Parma for quality, personality, and service. Prices are in line with the quality and the area. I hope they're a huge success, because they deserve it.

If there were 10, 100 stars, it would give even more of an idea that the people who make ice cream here know how to make it well. Even a vegan or someone allergic/intolerant to lactose can eat a delicious ice cream that's different from the usual fruit. Fantastic guys, keep working like this, where there's passion and study it shows. Thanks, I hope to return (we were passing through after the fair).
