The gelato is decent; I could only taste a little of many flavors, and personally, I prefer other gelato shops. There's a strong smell of fresh milk inside, likely due to the lab or poor management of the space. I understand the artisanal nature of the place, but personally, it's an unpleasant smell. The price isn't in line with the area either: €4.50 for three flavors seems a bit high.

A sweet and incredible discovery in Parma. Excellent gelato, authentic and genuine flavors. My absolute favorite flavors are Burro Noisette and I Want to Go Back to the '90s. Although the Nocciola reminded me of the flavor of the hazelnuts my childhood friends and I used to steal from the neighbor's tree!

I've always been someone who always ordered the same flavor at every gelato shop, but every time I come to Parma, I go to Al Polo and I'm amazed. Here, I naturally want to try new flavors and surprising combinations, recommended with a smile and expertise. Alex and Giulia's passion for gelato is evident in every detail. Highly recommended!

Excellent gelato, you can taste the ingredients perfectly, which is very rare. Fair price and generous portions. I'd go back to try all the flavors! The texture alone is unique, different from other gelato shops; I'd say it's smoother and softer. Kudos to the owners for the incredible combinations of ingredients in the flavors! (For example, there are some flavors that include cheese, like robiola; it's brilliant.)

14/03/2026: You have to walk there as it's located right in the center of town. You wouldn't find this place by chance without directions. Google Maps helped me with this. A small tavern under the porticoes with a few tables outside. Reservations are highly recommended. This delicatessen is so small that, when you call, they ask you which lunch hour you want: 12:00 or 2:00 PM. But these small inconveniences are compensated by the excellent products served with such passion by the owners and their family. The quality, though served in a rustic, unpretentious manner, comes at a slightly higher price. But they know how to do it. I appreciated everything, and especially the coffee served at the end in a moka pot. Things from another era.

02/03/2026: I discovered this place through a Wonderbox I was given. A very beautiful, unusual structure, considering it's an abbey. Attentive service, very kind and helpful staff. It was a wonderful discovery, we'll be happy to return. The rooms are quiet and very clean. Breakfast was delicious, with homemade tarts. Everything was wonderful... thank you 🤩🤩🤩
14/02/2026: We organized lunch for my son's baptism. Excellent food and superb service. Highly recommended. Thanks to all the staff!
