27/06/2025: The same advice from the jovial lawyer from Parma that had made me discover La Valle, this time led me to the Cortex Bistrot. From the green hills above Fidenza to the narrow streets of the center of Parma, warmed by the rays of the sun of the first, real, days of summer.
Inside, however, it is nice, an informal environment between shelves of books and bottles that celebrate past uncorkings, the girls who welcomed us and took care of us always patient and courteous, even though we were a large company and perhaps with a few too many requests.
I really liked the cuisine of Cortex, articulated without being excessive, fresh and original in the choice of ingredients with a result always well-centered, you can find delicacy where perhaps you would expect intensity, or the exact opposite.
I put βππππ ππ’πππ‘π, ππ ππππππ, πππ£ππππ ππππππππ, ππππ’ππβ in first place along with βπππππππ, ππππ‘πΜ, π£ππ Hello, dear friend, extraordinary starter the βπ§π’ππβπππ π‘ππππππ‘π‘π πππ πππ πππ, βπππππππππ, πππ‘π‘ππππβ. Since I lacked the courage, I chose βπππππ, πππππππ, πππ ππππ, ππ’πππ¦β instead of βπ‘πππππ, π πππππ, πππππππ ππππβπππβππβ, but who wouldn't? he had my paranoias he then called it spectacular.
The wine list was a real playground, to satisfy every possible desire without breaking the bank. As a company alcoholic, colleagues, on average 20 years younger, gave me carte blanche and I, as an elderly person, took advantage of it. They were very thirsty, they behaved very well π
