We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant in the pedestrian center of Desenzano. Attracted by the reviews, we booked for a traditional family lunch: casunzei, porcini mushrooms, tartare, polenta, and lake fish. Everything was impeccably cooked and flavorful.
We'll definitely be back.

Inedible pizza (ham and mushrooms), heavy and undercooked dough (after three slices I was already full), not enough tomato, not enough mozzarella, tasteless mushrooms sliced too thick, and the cooked ham added afterward was of extremely low quality. First of all, the menu should specify "cooked after cooking," but if you put it at the end, you need a quality one—not a San Giovanni, which they probably don't even know what that is, but at least a ham costing €25-35 per kilo, not a plasticized, shiny, gelatinous ham with absolutely no fat—not even dogs would like that. If you cook it, at least you can partially hide the poor quality of the product. We're from Piacenza, so there's no getting around cured meats.
Edit: No problem, everyone makes mistakes, and admitting your mistake does you credit.

A truly lovely and welcoming restaurant, with a pleasant and refined atmosphere. The food is truly delicious; we had delicious pizzas, made with authentic, quality ingredients. Not to mention the desserts... the Torta delle Rose was simply delicious! We'll definitely be back.

Good morning, we had dinner with three people and ordered three really good pizzas with quality Slow Food ingredients.
I also noticed that the restaurant is featured in the Gambero Rosso guide. So, our expectations were very high, and they were clearly met. I also had a really good craft beer to drink. I'll give you another compliment.

We selected lakeside dishes from the menu: an appetizer of marinated pike and polenta, tasty though not refined in its preparation and presentation; for the first course, bigoli with sardine and perch sauce, not bad, although the flavor is a bit dull due to the predominantly salty flavor. For dessert, the cheesecake was decent, but more interesting was the pairing of Modica chocolate, canned black cherries, and a glass of Port. The service was quick and efficient. A significant redesign of the location is recommended.

Today, while strolling through Desenzano and craving pizza, we stopped at this restaurant/pizzeria in the center of the charming town, drawn by the somewhat hidden but beautifully presented entrance.
We were not disappointed.
The pizza was delicious, well-cooked, and well-seasoned.
The staff is young and very welcoming.
The place is uniquely decorated, with plenty of bottles on display and well-spaced tables.
The cleanliness is noticeable, even in the restrooms.
We will definitely return to try the other dishes we saw served to other diners.
