Hier sollte man auf jeden Fall reservieren. Es wird Original gekocht und bei den Empfehlungen darf man gerne dem Personal folgen, auch begleitende Weine suche Helia perfekt aus. Italienische Küche vom feinsten. Mehr kann man nicht erwarten!

We ate with our group in this restaurant, we had a very good time, excellent service, very nice environment, excellent dishes...absolutely reasonable price, excellent noble. Definitely a positive experience, thank you for your availability and kindness

We ate dinner here, and the food was good. However, one of the dishes we ordered was incorrect, one wine we ordered was incorrect, and we never got the second wine we ordered.

This winery is right near a gate into Montepulciano, and while staying in town, my husband and I wandered in and inquired about a wine tasting. We didn't initially realize their 2 tastings were of different labels, so we both did the Gattavecchi tasting. Of the three wines, we loved one and really liked another, and decided to split tasting of the other label, Poggio Alla Sala, before heading out. These were also quite good. Additionally, the service was very friendly and we didn't feel rushed at all. We shipped some wine home, and made a dinner reservation for the following evening at the adjoining restaurant. We enjoyed the al fresco dining and the views and the food and wine. This winery is definitely worth a visit if you are in Montepulciano!

We all said this was our best meal and wine on the trip so far. Highly recommend!

A dinner to remember. Friendly staff and super attentive to customer needs. Mixed bruschettas of various kinds, the ones with livers were a delicacy. The first courses were all excellent as per the Tuscan tradition, the tagliatelle with pepper was something exceptional, so much so that it was given another turn at the center of the table for those who hadn't tasted it. The wine, a noble reserve of 2018 Gattavecchi, gave that extra note to a dinner and in general to a truly pleasant evening. At the end of dinner we went around the cellar among the barrels and we took some of their bottles that they sell retail. If you pass by here, you can't help but stop.

Very beautiful, renovated old monastery. Food is very tasty, we had pici and tagliata. Vino Nobile is highly recommended. We have been there several times and will definitely go back

Ideal restaurant. The place is beautiful and has some delicious wines, it is very good that they offer the possibility of tasting several wines instead of choosing a bottle. We ate a pomodoro bruschetta, some spectacular pici al cacio e pepe and a meat al pepe verde.
