There's a lot of competition in Montepulciano for excellent places to eat and drink but this place is the winner of them all.
Incredible food, impeccable (and very family feel) service from everyone. Their wines are excellent too.
The pici with duck and also pici with wild boar were particular highlights. Save room for the Pecorino pudding.
I never score my food higher than a 9/10 but my Pici with duck was my first ever 10/10
Also to note that ALL pasta dishes are available with hand-made gluten free pasta. My dad is GF and he's never been able to get anything like what he could here, it's like actual fresh pasta. Amazing

I went there with my boyfriend on holiday, I was enchanted by this former convent, excellent food and what can I say about the very kind and friendly staff, plus they were my accomplices in surprising my boyfriend for his birthday.... We will definitely be back

Excellent food and extremely kind people. Our server was so wonderful. We went back for lunch the day after a delicious dinner and they were hosting a huge group lunch for a group of locals but were kind enough to still make room for us and serve us quickly. The meat sauce and wild boar stew were excellent! Huge wine selection as well

I had an amazing time - the staff were so kind and made me gluten free pasta. I also had gluten free bread and pate - if you’re a celiac, this place is heaven. Wine was terrific too, it’s a must if you’re in Montepulciano.

I love this restaurant. This place is the best in Italy. Especially, I love pasta. The wild boar ragu pasta and the rosemary and berry steak are delicious. The wine is also highly recommended.

Fantastic view and extremely tasty wines. We had a wine tasting along with lunch - highly recommended 👍 but you need to book a table well in advance 😉

What a wonderful place!!
They even serve fresh olive oil.
The wines we tasted were all excellent!
The white ragu pasta and the various bruschettas were all delicious!!!
If you're ever here, definitely come here!!

Il posto è in una location bellissima. Il vino servito di alta qualità e anche il cibo. Mi è piaciuto il fatto che la cameriera spiegava la composizione di ogni portata, la trovo una cosa di classe. Ovviamente ha spiegato anche il vino. La serata è stata molto piacevole. Consiglio a tutti
