Late lunch, the limoncello spritz was strong! I did note the fact that the mix fried fish ‘could be’ frozen and I’m going out on a limb and say it was literally poured out of a frozen mixed back into the frier and put on a plate, shame considering the restaurant sits right on the ocean front! But buyer beware as it does tell you in the menu. The mussels in tomato sauce were plentiful and good according to the wife, who is a very picky individual when it comes to eating out. Service was great and the location spot on, I’d say stay away from anything that says it could be frozen because it absolutely will be. That’s my bad but if you don’t try you don’t know.

We had a wonderful meal here! The service was incredibly welcoming and not at all pushy, unlike at several other restaurants in Naxos. The fresh swordfish was excellent. The baked potatoes were also delicious. A nice change from pasta, haha. The terrace also looked very inviting with the lights and everything. We definitely recommend this restaurant!

Restaurant located at the road next to the sea line. The food was fresh, had to try the octopus salad - was not worth it since overpriced but I am still satisfied 😊 Liked the fruti de mari pasta and beer. In summer, with hot weather and chilling wind, the place is great.

13/10/2025: A true discovery! La Fermata is the perfect place for those who want to savor authentic Sicilian cuisine in all its authenticity and deliciousness. Each dish is an explosion of authentic flavors: from the rich and flavorful appetizers to the traditional first courses prepared with the freshest ingredients, to the main courses and desserts that reflect the history and heart of Sicily. The food was simply spectacular: plentiful, well-cooked, and attentively served. Each course made us feel pampered, right at home. The staff is kind, welcoming, and helpful, always ready to recommend the best dishes on the menu. A place that will stay in your heart, where tradition and quality go hand in hand. Highly recommended!
12/10/2025: Family-run restaurant, friendly and welcoming staff. Generous and tasty portions. It feels like being at home. From there, you can see the Sanctuary of the Madonna dell'Aiuto with a spectacular view of the Agrò Valley. I recommend it.

28/09/2025: We just had a unique weekend! As soon as we arrived on Vulcano, we rented the legendary Mehari from Paolo and immediately headed to our peaceful oasis on Vulcano Piano! Maria Tindara is the most authentic place you can find on Vulcano! It's outside the port, true, but it's perfectly located halfway between Gelso and the port! The dinner was spectacular, an explosion of flavors! Save room for the desserts because they are incredible and definitely made with love! Gilberto was attentive to our every need, even recommending a truly unique spot with a breathtaking view of the islands and the crater rim to your left—a spot that rivals the climb up the crater the day before, and definitely less tiring! The rooms are simple and authentic, and in the evening you're only accompanied by the chirping of the cicadas! We'll always come back!
25/09/2025: Very tasty food. Beautifully prepared. A culinary delight. Not cheap.
