We visited last night after a recommendation and we are so glad we did. We already knew what we wanted prior to us visiting (the lasagne) and it was honestly the best lasagne we’ve ever had! The owners and waitress were very welcoming and lovely. We had the tiramasu to share for dessert which was fantastic. We were offered some homemade almond wine which we had to unfortunately turn down as we were so full but the offer was very kind. I think I normally would have walked straight past the place as it looks a little unassuming, but make sure you visit! Also very good value for money. Many thanks

Good food and very friendly staff. You would feel at home here! 💕 We had the lasagna from the Nonna and the tiramisu. When we sat they gave us some bruschettas with olives from the garden and at the end they gave us to try the almond wine. A must visit in castelmola!

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant during my stay. The warm hospitality made us feel at home, and the home-cooked meals were absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor. The service was impeccable, and the staff genuinely cared about our experience. The cozy atmosphere created the perfect setting for dinner. Every day we tried new places, but we always returned to this gem for dinner. It quickly became our favorite spot!

Beautiful authentic homemade food, This is our 6th visit to various parts of Italy and We would have to say this little gem of a restaurant was the best. The staff are lovely and welcoming and the atmosphere so relaxing and friendly. The food was mouthwatering especially the meat balls and lasagna, Carbonara! Lovely wine. Very reasonably priced. Thank You all the way from North Wales UK 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

12/08/2025: We went there after reading other reviews...and we actually had a great time for an aperitif...the service, led by Massimiliano and his colleagues, was perfect. The food was delicious and excellent. When I return to Messina, it will be a regular stop.
