Fresco & Cimmino In Milano

We discovered this restaurant almost by chance during a day spent at the mall, and the experience was truly positive. The atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant, perfect for a leisurely meal. The staff was efficient and very helpful, but a special mention goes to the owner, a Neapolitan like us, a truly friendly and courteous person. He was extremely attentive to our needs and accommodated every request. We were traveling with children, and as often happens, first they want something, then they change it, then maybe they don't want it anymore... but he was always patient, accommodating, and very affectionate with the little ones, making us feel truly at ease. The food was excellent, all top-quality and carefully prepared. Furthermore, at the end, we received a completely fair bill, proportionate to what we had ordered and eaten. In conclusion, it was a truly pleasant experience from every perspective: the welcome, the quality of the food, the kindness of the staff, and the final price. It's one of those places you'll want to return to and one we'd recommend without hesitation to anyone passing through.

A very interesting location and easy to get to. The atmosphere is comfortable, but never too much… The food is fresh… The pizza is well-made and well-mixed… The stairs leading to the bathrooms upstairs are a bit unpleasant… Otherwise, the furnishings are well-organized and the colors are reminiscent of the neoclassical years of the European 1950s and 1960s. I've been there for both lunch and dinner several times, and the service has always been prompt.

We had dinner at Fresco & Cimmino, literally a stone's throw from Milan's Duomo, and the experience was excellent. There were seven of us, and we ordered several pizzas as well as bottles of water to share. I had the Buffalina, which is essentially a Margherita with buffalo mozzarella. I was expecting something different, but it was delicious. It actually lived up to the description. The crust was thin, airy, light, and very easy to digest. The tomato sauce was flavorful, and the buffalo mozzarella tasted great. That said, I think a classic Margherita is a better deal because the price difference isn't that noticeable. The Lombarda pizza was excellent; the speck was very flavorful, along with the delicious Gorgonzola, mozzarella, and potato pieces. The Pasqualona was also a big hit—a good salsa with melted provola cheese. The pasta alle vongole was a big hit, but the Pugliese pizza was truly exceptional: high-quality prosciutto crudo from Parma, crisp arugula, stracciatella cheese, excellent cherry tomatoes—a perfectly balanced blend of freshness and flavor. All the pizzas were excellent; the skill is evident. They are truly 5/5 pizzas, all authentic Neapolitan pizzas. The dough is perfect: well-cooked, airy, thin, with puffed edges, not burnt at all, quality ingredients, and generous portions. It's not a tourist trap, but it's perfect for tourists who want a good meal and are just steps from the Duomo. The service was impeccable; the waiters were very attentive, polite, and elegant in suits, without ever rushing us. The restaurant is chic and calm, even having a screen showing a football match in a relaxed atmosphere. The cover charge is high but consistent with the ultra-central location. In Italy, this is common practice, so foreign friends, don't be surprised. We had a wonderful time; I highly recommend it.

A large and welcoming place, the staff are kind and knowledgeable, and the menu is excellent. I also saw some beautiful and delicious pizzas at the tables, but I'm sorry if I preferred the paccheri with lobster 😎

Fast service, excellent food! Busy place for dinner, lots of people but it has a lunchtime vibe of people who work nearby.

Pizza is very nice. Great wine and service. Good service and kind waiters. Had to search high and low for the toilet upstairs on the 2 floor. No paper and soap. Clean and modern. Ceasarsallad were terrible.
