Do you know why you deserve 5 stars? Because attention is and always will be the first thing, I arrived with my husband at 1.45pm they immediately found me a table and I had a great time beyond the fact that it was my birthday you were top.... Congratulations I can't wait to come back

This restaurant is located within the Pescara marina. The space is spacious, divided into several discreetly furnished rooms. The cuisine offers average dishes, overall decent but lacking any particular flair for originality. What unfortunately negatively impacted my experience was the handling of food intolerances. Despite having reported my lactose intolerance upon arrival, I was served a first course I couldn't eat, and when I asked for confirmation, I was told it did indeed contain lactose. Incredibly, the dish remained in front of me with no alternative offered. From a restaurant of this caliber, I would have expected greater attention and professionalism: a simple solution, easily achievable in a well-organized kitchen, would have been enough. A shame, because with a little more attention to customer service, the experience could have been much more enjoyable.

The traditional cuisine is very simple. You can taste the flavor of the fish. I enjoyed the cold appetizers, but I'd definitely recommend the mussel soup, but they were overcooked to the point of being dry! The wait staff was kind and helpful. Overall, I enjoyed it, but it didn't blow me away.

The atmosphere is welcoming. The restaurant is well-furnished, with marine references in the décor without becoming kitsch. There's space between the tables, which helps provide some privacy. Acoustically discreet: despite the large number of customers, we didn't have to raise our voices to speak. The staff was courteous and helpful. They seated us immediately, and the waiter was attentive in explaining the dishes, suggesting the daily specials. The wait times were normal: relatively quick for the appetizers, a little longer for the main courses, but justified by the number of courses. The fish tasted fresh, both in flavor and texture. Excellent raw materials. The dishes were beautifully presented, with attention to detail, such as light garnishes and bright colors. The portions were generous. We struggled to finish everything, but this is a plus if you're hungry. Considering the quality of the fish, the attentive service, and the ambiance, I'd say the price-to-value ratio is fair. The wine selection is good, especially local whites and rosés, which pair well with seafood dishes. All in all, Ristorante Franco is a wonderful discovery for those who love well-cooked seafood, in a pleasant atmosphere and with attentive service.

The quality of the food is excellent, the ambiance is absolutely pleasant with a lovely view of the marina, and the service is excellent, with top-notch staff who are just the right amount of demanding and professional. Absolutely excellent value for money. I return again and again, and Franco consistently delivers. The restaurant is also fully accessible for us, the disabled. A 10 out of 10.
