Pros: Large pool complex, very friendly and helpful staff, plenty of linens, cleanliness. Cons: The details. Lack of attention to dietary restrictions, which were stated in writing and repeatedly verbally (use of allergens even if not listed on the menu), even in room amenities. These are serious issues in my opinion (which cost me two days of illness and the resulting cancellation of my plans for those two days). I can't comment on the breakfast buffet because I was too unwell to leave the room and eat. Less serious, but still noticeable, issues are: in the room (suite), an exposed plastic drain in the bathroom and a lack of basic toiletries (obviously not towels, but toothbrushes, toothpaste, disposable soaps, etc.), lack of clear signage (besides me, I saw many guests wandering around asking for information), some areas were decidedly poorly organized (there was no room to leave bathrobes and slippers in the private pool. The indoor loungers were definitely insufficient for the influx of guests.). Leaks and humidity. Which are expected in a spa. But in a 5-star resort. The overall experience is something I'm forced to reject it.. Especially considering the overall cost.. I don't just mean money obviously.

Overall, the property is worth the price. The receptionists, hotel, bar, and restaurant staff are impeccable. Professional and reliable. I'm a satisfied customer. I'd like to leave a hopefully constructive comment about the restaurant: we've been to your other properties (ex Grotta Giusti) and were completely satisfied with the food. Unfortunately, the cuisine at the restaurant at Fonteverde isn't up to par with the property. I'm not saying the food is bad, but it's just not up to par. I hope this comment is constructive, as the property is truly unparalleled and the staff is highly professional. The central bar is absolutely worthy: I've never had such a good drink. For this very reason, it's truly a shame not to elevate the restaurant's cuisine to 5-star standards. We'll definitely be back; we had a great time.

We went to the spa and I have to say we were very satisfied. The only thing we didn't like was that there was a man cleaning the women's locker rooms; that made us a little uncomfortable. But everything went perfectly and I recommend it.

Well-maintained, clean, and organized facility. Super friendly and always available staff.

I stayed 3 nights with my husband and two other friends and my Maltese dog Adel on a half-board basis. I had a wonderful time thanks to the kindness of all the staff, from the reception, the restaurant, and the cleaners... everyone was very helpful... the room was better than I imagined, with all the comforts, even for my dog... various and well-designed pools... towels available... the entire structure is very clean and the details well-finished... a truly welcoming, elegant, and spacious environment... with a breathtaking view.

Day Spa with a pampering package for two and access to the bioaquam circuit. Impeccable service. The thermal pool on the first floor offers a breathtaking view of the hills. An enchanting and joyful experience for body and soul. The staff in every area is kind, welcoming, and professional. I recommend the talaquam experience. Salt water, zero gravity, the gentle sound of bells, lightly scented candles, and a starlit ceiling. A magical experience💖

Not a very good value for just the thermal pool, costing €37 per person. Sauna access costs €30.

A hotel that, in my opinion, doesn't have a clear classification, meaning the prices are 5-star, but then you see people at breakfast or aperitif in bathrobes, which in my opinion is inappropriate for a hotel like this. In short, neither fish nor fowl. A few things could be improved, including the pool access, which isn't heated. Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast, very average restaurant.

Lovely, relaxing place. Everything went well overall. I didn’t stay at the hotel, so I didn’t see the rooms, but the common areas are clean and well kept, and the staff clearly do their best. The price feels fair and in line with the experience.
