Clean place, great food, and a small farm and playground. Miriam, our waitress, was really kind and welcoming.

I stopped for dinner. The swordfish rolls with caponata were highly recommended. The almond dessert was excellent. Excellent service and a pleasant atmosphere.

Ristorante La Forgia Maurizio

11/10/2025: Maurizio was very kind and welcoming. The caponata was the best I've tasted in the Aeolian Islands, and the stuffed squid with sauce was wonderful! Thank you.
05/10/2025: For the owner alone this restaurant is worth a visit. Such a lovely and engaging man, who spoke Italian, English and German with us. The food is delicious and though on the pricier side, portion size and quality justify it. We had the best seafood noodles here. (Sadly I only have a photo of the empty shells)
