I love this restaurant, the meat is particular and tasty.. the owners are dear people, I always feel at home when I come here. I recommend it to try meats that are usually not easy to find.

After 20 years I have eaten here again. Wonderful restaurant. The owner is a charming person and the food is super delicious. The tea at the end of the meal is very delicious. I hope to return.

I had dinner with friends this evening, and it was a wonderful experience! The extremely courteous, kind and friendly owner showed us the traditional dishes and recommended the courses, also telling us the details. The atmosphere is intimate, welcoming and rustic, and the dishes are tasty and unique. The possibility of eating with your hands is perhaps the thing that gave the extra touch to an already wonderful experience. I had never tasted this cuisine, but now that I know about it I'm sure I'll be back!

Very good food with really large portions (much appreciated). There are plenty of meat options for meat eaters, but just as many veg options. If you come you absolutely must have the shiro, (very good). Perhaps not recommended for people who don't like spicy food (although there are a couple of non-spicy options). Very homely and welcoming environment, like the owner. While the waitress wasn't particularly friendly. After the abundant meal they brought us a digestive infusion (which tasted like cinnamon) which was delicious. Definitely stop by.

I strongly recommend anyone to try this restaurant again and again to have a wonderful experience in contact with the culinary culture of Eritrea. The food is really excellent, the menu also offers options for vegetarians and vegans. The staff is very kind, in particular the owner is very helpful and passionate in explaining and recommending the dishes. The room is furnished in a very simple and essential way. I will definitely be back!

The family atmosphere of the place and the kindness of the owner make a very special dinner.
I recommend the Friendship Plate to be able to taste multiple dishes (you need half a portion of each).
Be careful, they fill up a lot.
Pleasant surprise: a delicious cinnamon tea offered at the end of dinner which helped us digest.
