I first bumped into this art deco jewel some 10 to 11 years ago. I made it to lunch today and it was precisely as I remember it. Definitely a repeat when next in Milan.

Nice "traditional" Italian restaurant, thought at noon the menu was rather limited and not a la carte, could be construed somehow as a tourist trap, though I wouldn't really see it that way, more genuine than most.

Great place and very friendly staff! The food was very tasty. And we also went a little late at night but they were very nice to let us in. Would recommend!

We had Sunday lunch here and thought it excellent. We’d checked for vegetarian food and Giuseppe, the manager went through the options from the menu for us. The restaurant is charming and has old school Milano feel, like the old trams that run round the city. But the food is exciting and a modern twist on classics and beautifully presented. By plin pasta (little pockets filled with creamed potato) were light and wonderful, the cauliflower dish (cauliflower mousse with brocolli and onion) was excellent and something we’d not experienced before, the veal cutlet, a classic, was excellent and the smoked spaghetti was amazing. Icecream came with a range of toppings for a do it yourself dessert - brilliant! Service was great, price was reasonable, a decent wine by the glass selection. We thought it was one of the very best meals we had on our 2 week trip round Europe and wouldn’t hesitate to go back when in Milan. Grazie!
