The first one was good as they say, restaurant located on the square near the church of San Francesco, a few tables outside but the period was still cold and we sat inside. Even though it was full, the owner managed to find a place for all six of us. From the menu we tried crostini with liver pâté, ham and mozzarella to start, then we got the craving for pici and tasted those with nana (duck) ragù, ragù and garlic sauce. All washed down with an excellent Montepulciano red. Prices in line with other restaurants Advised

Found by chance...beautiful place...exquisite staff...very kind (the waitress Camilla was infinitely sweet)...very good food and fair prices...I highly recommend it

During a visit to Montepulciano we spotted this small wine shop next to the panoramic terrace. We had a first course each and a platter of pecorino cheese to share. The food was all excellent, the service was friendly and fast and the prices were fair.

Place located at the top of a small hill from which you have a beautiful view of the plain. The place is elegant, often frequented by tourists and the staff is very kind and helpful. The cooked dishes are very good, they should all be tried. I hope to return one day.

Mi lugar favorito en Montepulciano para relajarse y ver pasar el día. Obviamente, conocen su vino. Sus especiales de vino diarios en la pizarra de tiza también son excelentes. Y no te harán sentir mal si todo lo que quieres es un spritz. Por supuesto, las puestas de sol son especiales debido a la vista. Pero lo mejor de E Lucevan le Stelle es su gente. Todo el equipo hace un gran trabajo y son maravillosos tanto con los habituales como con los cronometrados. Te hacen sentir como en casa.

Gelegen naast één van de mooiste uitzichtpunten van montepulciano ligt deze wijnbar. Heerlijke witte huiswijn, leuk dat ze ook gratis zoutjes bij de drankjes geven. Aanrader.

09/02/2025: Lots and lots of gins, you can really find them all! Wines accompanied by platters of local products. Great find!
20/01/2025: Slightly touristy menu. Some dishes needed improvement (the pici were all broken), others were great classics (e.g. Tuscan platter). Great offer for wine tastings and competitive prices in Montalcino. As for the service, a little slow, but the guys are always nice and kind.
