La comida era buena. Sin embargo, el servicio fue indiferente y no muy atento. Traté de averiguar por qué y de repente me di cuenta de que no éramos italianos! Nos sirvieron un vaso de rojo en lugar de la rosa que pedimos y pagamos por un agua que no recibimos. Si eres británico te sugiero que lo evites. Como nota positiva, la ubicación y la vista eran fantásticas, pero nos sentimos decepcionados por la sensación de que no eramos realmente bienvenidos.

Ci siamo ritrovati qui per caso e a volte il caso fa delle sorprese meravigliose. Locale molto bello e curato con vista sulla piazza e sulla relativa veduta del belvedere. Servizio eccellente, personale gentilissimo e competente. Piatti preparati molto bene e scelta dei vini davvero ampia e ricercata. Noi abbiamo bevuto un Nobile di Montepulciano di un piccolo produttore, davvero ottimo. I prezzi sono onestissimi vista la location. Questa sosta è stata la perla della nostra giornata a Montepulciano.

We went here on our first night in Montepulciano and nothing after that came close to the experience here. The kind and lovely staff and their excellent food along with a gorgeous selection of wine - where I found the excellent i Cipressi- makes it a must do when in Montepulciano. Not to mention the sunset view is absolutely gorgeous and it's a wonderful way to spend your early evening here. I had what I think was my best bruschetta in Italy. Fresh cherry tomatoes, ricotta cheese, basil and gorgeous bread toasted and drizzled with olive oil - it wa heaven with very bite. Excellent staff made the evening very special :)

Loved this place. Quiet in the early evening then got quite busy, but service was great. There was live music on our second visit, which we enjoyed. There is outside seating in nice weather. Enjoyed the wine selection. We didn’t eat here so can’t speak to the food. Sunset views are incredible!

The first one was good as they say, restaurant located on the square near the church of San Francesco, a few tables outside but the period was still cold and we sat inside. Even though it was full, the owner managed to find a place for all six of us. From the menu we tried crostini with liver pâté, ham and mozzarella to start, then we got the craving for pici and tasted those with nana (duck) ragù, ragù and garlic sauce. All washed down with an excellent Montepulciano red. Prices in line with other restaurants Advised

22/11/2025: A real find! We were served quite late and without a reservation. A very pleasant place right next to the Siena Duomo. Excellent service and traditional Tuscan dishes. We had the typical soup and pizza, and everything was delicious. The tiramisu was the best we've ever had. The price for three people, including wine, dessert, and coffee, was €75. Highly, highly recommended!

La Torre alle Tolfe

09/11/2025: I absolutely loved my stay at La Torre alle Tolfe and appreciated how kind and knowledgeable all the staff were. I spent five nights here and everything was great - the food was delicious, I loved learning more about the property through the historical tour, olive oil and wine tastings, and animal feeding/regenerative farming tour, and enjoyed meeting many interesting people. I definitely hope to be back again and highly recommend staying here!
12/10/2025: What a lovely hotel, very nice view. We also had a wine tour at the hotel and our tour guide was the owner. Its the third generation, we love the vision, atmosphere everything about the hotel..
