Don Lisander In Milano

Too expensive for what you get. Cover charge €6, coffee €4.50, four zucchini flowers €24.50… No wine, no dessert, just a good appetizer and a decent swordfish, €85 per person seems too much, even though it's called Don Lisander and even though it's on Via Manzoni… I'm afraid I won't be back.

A very good restaurant, a three-minute walk from Milan's Scala. We went for lunch, but dinner must be very good too. The outside area is covered by a vault and separated from the park by a fence, which provides some respite on warm days in the summer. They also have a functional, well-presented indoor dining room. As for the food, we tried the mondeghili (a cross between a croquette and a meatball) and vitello tonato. For main courses, we tried the pasta of the day (3 tomatoes) and the ossobuco with Milanese risotto. For dessert, we had chocolate ice cream and the Providenza cake. Everything was delicious, with the ossobuco with risotto being spectacular. The only drawback might be the prices, which were a bit high in my opinion, although I can understand this given the location (I've attached the details so everyone can make their own judgment). We were served by very attentive and friendly staff. In total, it cost €198 for two adults and a small child to eat. I still think it's a must-visit if you want to eat in the area.

Bellissima location , sempre molto accogliente, ma ricordavo un ottimo risotto che purtroppo non ho più ritrovato. Non mi aspettavo un risotto alla milanese scotto. Che delusione per gli amici a cui avevo tanto decantato il risotto del Don Lisander

Un pranzo di lavoro in una location ben conosciuta ma che si conferma un “must” della ristorazione milanese per eleganza qualità del servizio del cibo e varietà dell’offerta
