Don Chisciotte In Montecatini-terme

I dined at this restaurant two nights in a row. These were by far the best two meals that I had while in Italy. You can choose your lobster or whole fish from the display case. They debone your whole fish at the table. Every request to alter a dish or accomodation was fulfilled. One of my friends ordered the 800 gram tbone steak. It was presented on a sizzling platter. Another ordered their seafood linguine with lobster in a tomato sauce. He said it was the best pasta dish he ever had. I ordered the seafood platter in the picture. Seafood is almost always over cooked, especially calamari. All of the items were cooked perfectly so that they were done but not chewy. My second visit was with a group of 25. I approached the hostess at 7:30 pm during the dinner rush. The place was packed. I requested a reservation in 30 minutes for a party of 25. She gladly gave us the reservation and set up a table in the back room away from the crowds for us. We were all seated immediately. All 25 of the people said the food was amazing. I ordered the filet with peppercorn and walnut sauce. I could have cut the steak with a fork. The sauce was perfect, balanced and not overpowering. If you're in San Mangiano, or even passing by. I highly recommend. The restaurant also sits in the town square with outdoor seating and an attached desserterie owned by the restaurant.

Stopped by for a quick bite to eat. Food and service did not disappoint. Servers were very nice. Pizza was delicious 😋

The place is a 4 minus, only for evening photos. Waiting for dishes from 20 minutes with not full seating at the beginning of the evening. Good steak, antipasti is absurd - a couple of bruschetta, a piece of cheese and a very small amount of meat, a couple of types. Instead of billini they brought watered down rusini. Bloody Mary as if from watered down juice, a weak 4. Overall, the impression is not very good.

The service was quick and friendly..we ordered a pizza and steak tar tar which was prepared at the table. The presentation was personalized and fun. Chocolate molton cake for dessert.I would eat there again.

Beautiful place, excellent food, completely satisfied, except for the lukewarm seafood salad (it didn't taste like fresh fish, but canned), given the live shellfish on display. The wait to order was long, but due to disorganization, but the service itself was excellent.

The Pizza is fenomenal. Prices affordable. The waiters could be a little bit warmer 😀 All in all, Recommended!

Era da molto che non si ritornava dal Ristorante Centrale, l’ultima volta non siamo stati affatto soddisfatti. Mentre questa volta abbiamo ordinato una paella solo di pesci e siamo rimasti molto contenti. Consigliato.

Ristorante di qualità e pizzeria fantastica nel centro di Montecatini terme. Al centrale potrete gustare pesce e carne di ottima qualità e preparata in maniera accurata e gustosa. La pizza è fantastica, Mario è un artista della Pizza, la maiuscola non è a caso, prepara pizze sottili croccantissime e deliziose. Per la la verace, tenendo conto che a me di solito non piace, è perfetta, da quando l’ho provata non riesco a discostarmene, croccante e digeribile. Per il servizio è ottimo e competente, persone gentili e simpatici.
