A very pleasant restaurant with traditional, high-quality Tuscan specialties. We were there for lunch. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They were always happy to give advice. The atmosphere is clean, authentic, and traditional, just like the food. We had the ham and melon as a starter. The melon tasted fresh even in October, and the ham wasn't too salty, yet it still had a great flavor and was very tender. The Caprese salad had a truly fresh taste. The pappardelle al cinghiale (wild boar) was fantastically delicious. I can absolutely recommend this restaurant. Very friendly service, very good food, a lovely atmosphere, and the price was perfectly reasonable.

Very touristy place but very well cared for in the food and hospitality, amazing dishes and very kind staff... even though it was packed they served us in just the right time, congratulations!!!!!

Siamo stati a fine aprile 2025 in occasione della ns visita a volterra...il ristorante era pieno, non avevamo prenotato ed ho apprezzato la disponibilità a trovarci un tavolo al contrario del ristorante accanto..il locale è piccolo ma carino dal gusto tipico delle trattorie toscane...abbiamo ordinato un tipico tagliere toscano da dividere in due e due piatti a base di pici di cui uno alle vongole e zafferano...peccato che quest ultimo era troppo carico di peperoncino...al punto che avevo la bocca"infuocata" e non ho potuto apprezzare bene il piatto!!! Sembrava di piu un piatto a base di peperoncino che di vongole... doveva essere almeno segnalata questa cosa..! Questo è stato un punto di debolezza...conto in linea con il posto.

22/10/2025: We stayed for one night, but it is definitely worth staying longer. The place is based on values of environmental quality and sustainability, and it is simply exciting to visit places like this... The room we stayed in was modest but well-invested and well-maintained. The dinner was simply masterful, such clever use of simple ingredients, creative and simply delicious! The breakfast is also generous and very refreshing. In addition, there is a eco store with a selection of products and even a small café. For those who visit in the summer or during warmer months, there is a natural pool, which was fascinating to see. Highly recommended.
11/09/2025: A wonderful place to unwind. Good food, cute shop, and the best cappuccino.
