A quaint osteria in the center of Volterra! Young, fast, and friendly waiters. The appetizer was tasty and generous, and both the wild boar and peposo were excellent, paired with a good red wine. Average prices, a very positive experience.

We had three different cuts of beef, all three delicious, perfectly cut, tender, and perfectly cooked. The waiter recommended a very good wine. Good restaurant with good pasta, meat, risotto, and pizza options. Gluten-free penne and spaghetti are also available. The service is great, and the food is good. The Chianti risotto with pecorino was excellent, but the portion was small. The Wurst pizza was excellent, with a special mention for the quality of the cheese.

WE LOVE PICI❤️ "Go eat pici!" everyone said, yes, but where? Here's the perfect place if you want to delve into the world of pici: a typical Tuscan pasta that will blow your mind with every topping. Besides these, the meats on offer, the charcuterie platter, and the homemade desserts are incredible!

28/12/2025: A pleasant discovery in the Piazza del Duomo in San Miniato. The service is excellent, combining courtesy with savoir faire. The egg with potato cream, pecorino cheese, and truffle was excellent, as was the creamed cod. It's worth noting that I also found the coffee to be good (often, even in high-end restaurants, I've been served disgustingly sloppy broth). The restrooms are very clean.
21/12/2025: I went for dinner yesterday for the first time, having heard so much about it. Indeed, my expectations were exceeded. The location was beautiful and welcoming. The service impeccable. Roberto was wonderful. The presentation and food were excellent. I chose the fish menu with matching wines. My only complaint about the pairings was that some were perfect, others less so. They served me a chocolate dessert because I'm lactose intolerant, and for me, the only thing that goes with chocolate is Barolo Chinato. I couldn't find another pairing. I expected it from a restaurant of this caliber. Other than that, nothing more to say. See you soon.
