Dolce In Roma

Beautiful place. I didn't know what to order, and on someone's recommendation, I ordered a completely cloying Red Velvet that I couldn't finish. I think I'll give this place a second chance because my friends and I had a great time, the atmosphere was lovely, even just for a hot chocolate. Unfortunately, I was disgusted by the dessert, both because of the size of the portion and because the more bites I took, the more cloying and unpalatable I found it, as I've already described. Too bad.

Well-maintained surroundings. Friendly and very professional staff, short wait times. Excellent food, fantastic desserts. A quality experience. Prices are high, but they're reasonable for what's offered.

I went to Dolce for brunch and I have to say it was a truly excellent experience. I ate deliciously from start to finish: the club sandwich was rich, tasty, and perfectly prepared, while the tiramisu capped off the meal spectacularly, creamy and perfectly balanced. The atmosphere was pleasant, the service attentive, and the quality was top-notch. An absolutely worthwhile place; I'll definitely be back!

Everything was spectacular, congratulations, I'll definitely be back. Tagliolini with meatballs, a 10/10. Tiramisu was fabulous.

I had very high expectations given the restaurant's fame, which I'd long wanted to try, but they weren't met. The place is beautiful and meticulously maintained, and this is definitely its strong point because it feels like an enchanted place. The service is attentive but a bit cold and distant, not very welcoming. As for the food (we went for dessert, which is the restaurant's signature dish), I had asked in advance about lactose and gluten-free options, which was confirmed, but in reality, the selection was very limited. The make-your-own tiramisu option was also a disappointment for me, especially considering the price. The desserts are definitely expensive (about €11.50 each), partly because, in my opinion, aesthetics prevail over quality (they look better than they taste). The teas, on the other hand, were really good, both reasonably priced (about €6 each), and the American coffees (the latter, on the other hand, are very cheap at €3 each).

The location is nice and well-maintained, and the desserts are definitely the restaurant's signature dish, with a wide selection, especially the cheesecake. Slow service and inattentive staff; we were able to order only after an hour and several complaints. The food was decent. I recommend it for brunch or a snack; for dinner, it's best to avoid it. The maritozzi are not recommended.

Beautiful place especially during the Christmas holidays

The place is very nice, but if you make me spend a fortune on a slice of cake and a jug of tea, I would have appreciated an unchipped cup and not having to get up twice to ask for extra sugar at a time when there is very little traffic.
