Excellent place a few steps from the theater. In fact, the name intrigued me and I remembered that the "deus ex machina" is, from the Latin etymology in turn taken from the Greek, literally the "god who came down from the machine" or rather the figure in the theatrical context who took to the stage and resolved almost magically the problematic plot. The etymological connection with the theatrical world a few steps away (Teatro Fontana) is therefore excellent. The place is super cool and well attended. The aperitif is excellent where they also serve you a tray with chips, olives, peanuts, potato croquettes and dips. Very affordable prices: €13 spritz, €5 soft drink...Friendly and helpful staff

Friendly and helpful staff. Little choice of red wines but certainly good bottles. Fair prices for this area of Milan. The place is always full (and they deserve it). To try for a pre-evening or for an aperitif. I didn't have the opportunity to try the cuisine

I had an aperitif in this very trendy place located in the Isola district. The location is nice, it is an internal courtyard where, next to the restaurant, there are other shops, mainly for bikers. The aperitif can be enjoyed on the steps or on the few tables. The thing I didn't like very much was that I found the supply of appetizers rather inconvenient. In fact, they are positioned on the counter, but in front of this there are stools where many people sit, making it difficult and uncomfortable to serve oneself.
