We ate 3 different appetizers, 4 first courses, 2 second courses and 2 desserts.
Dishes with refined ingredients and balance, all delicious.
Honorable Mention:
- Amberjack carpaccio,
- Tuffoli with tuna ragù, tuna bottarga and saffron cheese fondue
- Seared tuna,
- Carob tart,
- Creme brulé.
All first courses are available with gluten-free pasta. My celiac wife had a lot of variety to choose from.
It's always a pleasure to see a restaurant that works so well, even more beautiful to see it in the south. We will definitely be back.

The restaurant is located inside a small, typically Sicilian, air-conditioned courtyard, the tables are well set, the staff is truly trained and professional. The choice of dishes, if you don't have a specific preference, is guided and recommended by the owner , also based on the catch of the day. We opted for a fish-based dinner, the raw fish was fantastic, the flavor of the fish was incredible, the tempura excellent, the fresh raw tuna on a very delicate pepper base; all accompanied by two glasses of really good local wine. We concluded with the carob tart... divine!!!
Excellent value for money, highly recommended!!!!!

An evening made unexpectedly splendid by a decidedly superior dinner. Very courteous and professional service, up to the level of the owner, young but decidedly "old style", very present but not intrusive. Recommended and off-menu dishes even beyond expectations. I love eating out with the family and I like to experiment, but I must say that such satisfaction doesn't happen often. Finally, it is clear that it is not (and could not be) a budget restaurant, but honestly it matters little when you eat well, and for the quality I have seen worse, in short I believe you pay the right price.
PS: I would like to point out that I wrote this review because I found myself snooping around the negative reviews, and I was shocked by how much STUPID IGNORANCE and USELESS BADNESS animates so many self-styled reviewers, who demonstrate that THEY ARE NOT WORTH THE SELFIES THAT ARE USUALLY TAKEN WITH KFC BASKETBALL , and above all the TOTAL LACK OF RESPECT for the people who work. It's ok to criticize, but I would recommend thinking about what to write.
Are you vegan? Do your own thing, go to a suitable place, not to torture others
Decadent location? But were you at least able to understand if you ate well?

Ogni anno, quando siamo ad Avola, torniamo sempre per una cena al Deja Vu e ogni anno è sempre meglio.
Non è una cena ma un’esperienza di nuovi sapori. Si riconferma semplicemente il miglior ristorante in città. Complimenti a Luigi e al suo team per la professionalità e l’amore che trasmettono per questo posto.

A fantastic experience in every sense. Luigi, the owner, in addition to guiding us in the choice of dishes, is a very friendly person who entertains every table by telling us about the ingredients and combinations of his cuisine. We ordered a starter of very fresh raw meat but what I will undoubtedly remember from this dinner is the spaghettone alla guitar, made with almonds and oysters. Incredible combination! For my personal taste I would have preferred the pasta to be cooked a little more al dente, after all it was perfect. The cheesecake, which improperly takes this name, was delicious, full of flavours, a work of art.

I just finished dinner and the raw fish and the gluten-free pasta with sea urchins were divine. Very friendly staff, a bit of a shame about the wait but it was totally worth it.

Very high quality of food, unfortunately the location was a bit penalized as the tables were surrounded by poorly maintained buildings.
