The portions were a bit small, but the food was delicious, and the children's plates were very generous. The service was very friendly and attentive.

The food was sooo delicious, and the seafood salad as an appetizer was our absolute favorite. Plus, the atmosphere in the cozy courtyard is totally cozy!

A unique and refined restaurant, with an interesting selection of dishes ranging from fish to meat. We ate wonderfully, and the bill was absolutely in line with the quality and quantity of the dishes. The tartare was a pleasant surprise: the pairings were excellent, especially the anchovy one, unusual but truly successful. The suckling pig was incredibly tender and perfectly cooked, a dish worth the dinner alone. My only recommendation concerns the dessert menu: the selection is extensive and inviting, but it would be nice to find some lactose-free options, so those with lactose intolerances (like me) could finish their dinner with dessert. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Avola who wants a different culinary experience without sacrificing quality.

A truly special experience! The setting is enchanting: a romantic courtyard with soft lighting and pleasant background music creating an intimate and relaxing atmosphere. The welcome was kind and attentive, making us feel immediately at ease. The dishes are a true celebration of Avola's Sicilian tradition, where traditional cuisine meets a refined gourmet touch. Each course showcases local products with flavor and elegance. Sincere compliments to the chef and owner for combining authenticity and sophistication so harmoniously. Highly recommended!

Let's just say Avola isn't the best place for nightlife... then you find this gem of a restaurant in a little square that turns your evening around. Simple, delicate, and refined flavors with the freshest fish and meat. I recommend this restaurant to everyone, whether you're just passing through or not... there's a really good and nice guy who lovingly and patiently recommends and even dissuades certain dishes based on the type of people he's serving. They offer a stool to put your bag on and cushions if the chairs are too hard... in short, a gem of southern Sicily, try it! P.S.: prices aren't too high!!!

We had an unforgettable dining experience at Déjà Vu in Avola. We started with the renowned Gillardeau oysters—often called the “Rolls-Royce” of oysters—and they absolutely lived up to the name. Fresh, rich, and buttery, each one was a perfect start to the evening. For our first course, we enjoyed two pastas: the Linguina Spezzetata (broken linguine) and Tuffoli alla Norma. Both were excellent, but the Norma was a standout—absolutely delicious. For mains, we had the Baccalà in CBT (salt cod cooked low and slow) and the Filetto di Maialino (suckling pig fillet). Both dishes were cooked to perfection, beautifully balanced, and full of flavor. We ended the meal with their Panna Cotta al Forno, which was truly exceptional. We had heard the desserts here were special, and it did not disappoint. The wine, recommended by the staff, was also a highlight and paired wonderfully with the meal. The setting—a charming courtyard that makes you feel transported to the Sicilian countryside—only added to the experience. Service was outstanding. The staff was warm and attentive, and the owner personally stopped by each table to chat, making the evening feel even more special. Every dish was thoughtful—from the ingredients to the presentation and portioning. This is a restaurant that takes pride in every detail. We would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Avola.
