We always love coming back. It's a place like it used to be, with food cooked like our grandmothers used to. The price is amazing.

Like every year, we come here in July to eat pigeon or wood pigeon, but the tagliatelle or pappardelle with wild boar ragù are also phenomenal, and the rabbit is also very tasty. For appetizers, ask for wild radicchio with onion and a platter of cured meats, accompanied by homemade piadinas—you won't regret it. For dessert, a soft rustic ring cake to dip in cagnina, a wine best served chilled.

Great food. Location different from that of a common restaurant, but completely consistent with the type of dishes that can be tasted inside the restaurant, to resume a very traditional style. Highly recommended the pappardelle with ragù.

È davvero un peccato non poter dare la valutazione massima a questa trattoria. Il cibo era ottimo, ma con pecche non da poco che deludono le aspettative: numerosi pezzetti di osso nel ragù di caccia (di per sé gradevolissimo), agnello ottimo ma con più parti di scarto che di carne, un semifreddo buono ma... più freddo che semi-. Perfetti invece i ravioli all'ortica, e soprattutto freschissime e leggere le pappardelle, da provare assolutamente. Penso che questa non sia la norma, ma ci vuole accortezza. Trattoria deve essere sinonimo di genuinità, non di trascuratezza: sulla prima ci siamo in pieno, chi cerca un locale con una cucina schietta e goduriosa l'ha trovato, ma come ripeto la seconda può rovinare tutto - non parliamo di dettagli. Un appunto sulla questione "cash only". Sono un'accesa sostenitrice del contante, penso che la direzione in cui ci stanno spingendo sia pessima. Tuttavia una cosa è sostenere gli scambi non tracciati, non tassati e diretti, materiali, un'altra negare all'avventore la possibilità (che è anche un diritto per legge) di pagare con carta. È chiaro che non si tratta di furberia, né l'avviso parla di inesistenti soglie sotto le quali il POS si può evitare. Apprezzo il coraggio di schierarsi, quale che sia la motivazione precisa. Ma obbligare un cliente a pagare come impone il ristoratore e non nel modo che preferisce è scorretto, e ciò vale per l'only cash come per il no cash. L'esperienza complessiva merita senz'altro una seconda chance.
