Daddy's Bread In Reggio nell'emilia

Bakery with sweet and savory products in a small street in the center of Reggio Emilia. We took the local specialty, Erbazzone, in a lighter version, without garlic and lard and it was delicious! Very tasty thanks also to the parmesan in the preparation, it was also digestible. In particular, we were also struck by the kindness of the staff who, despite being rather crowded due to a festival taking place in the city, served each customer with care and kindness, even offering us some pizza samples while we waited. Passed with flying colors!

Truly an excellent bakery for everything. The erbazzone is the best in the city center, but the pizza (soft and Roman versions), the focaccia all'olio (without too many toppings), the gnocco, and the traditional desserts are also worth a try. The prices are typical of the city center: not cheap, but adequate for the quality.

The erbazzone is delicious, the gnocco and the focaccia genovese are also excellent, the wholemeal or cereal bread are also excellent, I prefer the common bread more cooked

On my lunch break, not knowing where to go, I found this little wonderful bakery right in the center. I only had the opportunity to taste the savory products, but they also offer a rich choice of desserts they produce. I tried the Genoese focaccia which had exquisite extra virgin olive oil, the Roman pinsa which was crunchy and tasty even without seasoning. Instead, the pizzas are the classic pizzas found in bakeries: fragrant and well seasoned while the Erbazzone with extra virgin olive oil was a very happy surprise!
