Eating very well in the center of Milan in a very shabby restaurant, with a low profile service, spending a lot is... possible! Surprise ingredient: cockroaches coming out of the crumbling 1980s wood paneling.... Possible and desirable to return only after decisive and undeferrable renovation and sanitisation.

If you want an original Italian experience, this is the place to go. Food was amazing. The atmosphere and people were very welcoming. If you're hungry, get the primi, secondo and all. If not, enjoy a homemade pizza in a wood fired oven. The house wine was a lambrusco, mild and dry. The "mele" apple pie with ice cream was great to top it off. Dine in, you will appreciate it.

The meal started on a high note with the bread, oil, and balsamic, which were exceptional. The Osso Buco, Cotoletta Milanese, and Risotto Saffron were nicely prepared and enjoyable, paired well with good wine. The service was mixed—while some staff were respectful and attentive, others fell short of expectations. Unfortunately, the experience ended on a sour note when the cashier (possibly the owner) charged €4 per person for a small shot of limoncello, which is typically complimentary in similar restaurants in Milan. This charge felt unreasonable and detracted from an otherwise pleasant lunch. There are undoubtedly better options in Milan where such practices are more in line with the dining culture.

29/12/2024: Das Essen war sehr lecker, es gibt alles aber Meeresfrüchte und Fisch stehen dort im Fokus. Von außen wirkt das Restaurant nicht so das man es als erstes bevorzugen würde. Wir hatten drei Hauptmahlzeiten und ein Dessert, zum Abschluss gab es einen Kaffee nach Wahl. Es war ein toller Abend und alle wurden satt!
