Sunday night, the place was packed, so we had to wait half an hour for a table to be cleared. The lady at the front desk was quite upset just by asking her. The pasta was delicious, the lamb was good. The waitress, "Diamond in the Tooth," was very friendly, explaining any questions and always smiling, even though it was the last hour of the night. The best part was the dessert with berries.

The best restaurant in the area and beyond, ever...excellent product quality...really good pizza, as are all the restaurant's dishes.

It's always a pleasant surprise to discover a restaurant that, beneath its simple appearance, hides a quality menu at more than fair prices.
The exquisite cured meats are served with a type of fried dumpling called "sgabei" here.
For starters, we enjoyed excellent ravioli with meat sauce.
For main courses, we were pleased with both the tagliata and the fillet with porcini mushrooms.
In addition to a well-stocked wine cellar, the restaurant also offers three different house wines, one of which was excellent.
The Chantilly cup with meringues and blueberries was also interesting.
The service could be quicker, but it's always courteous.

The appetisers just kept coming, everything is delicious and the service is well paced. The place gets very crowded over the evening and is bit loud. Will definitely visit again.

The appetizer, cured meats and sgabei, was remarkable and plentiful. First courses were excellent, and desserts were supreme and plentiful. I don't know why they were skipped!

Excellent food, friendly owners, clean. I've also stayed in a hotel recently, the rooms are welcoming and very clean. A very nice thing is finding a bottle of water in the room. I also recommend it for the kindness and helpfulness of the owners.

Ci siamo capitati un martedì qualunque credendo di essere soli in sala e invece pieno come non ti aspetti e questo è stato già incoraggiante. Locale molto ampio che mostra tutti i suoi anni ma con un ordine e una pulizia ottima, la prima cosa che faccio quando arrivo in un nuovo locale vado in bagno, parecchi tavoli un pò troppo vicini l'un l'altro, ci ha accolto velocemente quello che poi ho scoperto essere il Titolare e ci ha dato un tavolo proprio in mezzo alla sala, 5 minuti è arrivato il menù che allego come subito ci è stato portato acqua e pane.
Abbiamo optato per tagliata, aceto balsamico e rucola e abbiamo fatto bene, carne cotta alla perfezione, al sangue come da nostra richiesta ma per fortuna caldissima anche all'interno, tortino di spinaci, piatto di rucola a parte per me, 1/2 litro di vino, 2 buonissimi dolci, un tiramisù stratosferico davvero e 2 caffè per l'onesta cifra di 50 € . Servizio impeccabile 2 cameriere non più giovani ma accorte, professionali e simpatiche, un riguardo particolare alla Signora Rita veramente in gamba, attenta disponibile e sorridente il tutto con una velocità di servizio encomiabile.
Ci rivedremo presto, magari appena arriva questa ricercata primavera o per goderci una fresca serata estiva visto il verde che circonda Monzone.
ps: a 5 minuti le Terme di Equi che dicono siano molto belle, noi ci siamo stati ma stanno facendo i lavori.
