The food is so good that it deserves 5 points, the goodness and diversity of the dishes offered, compared to tradition, takes any evaluation of the place into second place, I recommend trying the duck with apples and bread dumplings with porcini mushrooms. Honest prices.

Highly recommended place along the road. Cozy place, menu not extensive but interesting. Chestnut tortelli to taste, good second courses and exquisite desserts. Reachable by train with a small "Western" style station

After waiting 20 minutes to get a table (we had not reserved) we tasted Tuscan cuisine. A real delight.
An exquisite flavor on our plate.
The staff are very friendly and understanding, trying to make themselves understood as they do not speak English or French.
The must was the bill. A straw for such a good meal. 2 adults and 1 teenager.
The pasta and meat were great.
My daughter had truffle pasta. It was not a question of flavoring mixed with the cream, but of grated truffle.

We have eaten here many times over the last 10 years. The owners are always helpful friendly and welcoming. The food is typically Italian and based on local dishes with fresh local ingredients. There are some very special dishes on the menu like to pork lardo and the filetto di manzo con porcini fungi. The restaurant is large clean and often has a good atmosphere. It is the best restaurant for miles around and the number of locals who dine there is a sure sign of it's quality. We love it.

The menu is decidedly particular and characteristic. We tried the chestnut gnocchi and the pici with ragù, both delicious and well seasoned. Generous portions. To follow we had a baked trout with potatoes (delicious, well seasoned) and fried calamari (crispy and light, not greasy). Impeccable service, considering that the place was full. Special special mention for the almond cake, strictly homemade and served with a scoop of ice cream. Price more than adequate (4 first courses, two second courses, 4 desserts, wine and two liters of water, 2 coffees 25 euros each). We'll be back!

Excellent traditional food and local atmosphere. Rightfully so it’s known for its Antipasti which are not the well known safe choices but wonderful varied dishes and are almost a meal on its own. The meats and pasta’s are equally fantastic and so are the desserts. If it’s out of your way: It’s worth the trip! Wow!
