Very excellent food but unfortunately there was no expert in the dining room, because they served us a bitter type Amaro del Capo instead of grappa and insisted that it was grappa....otherwise everything was very good!

A quaint, warm, and welcoming place. The staff were friendly, and the owner was very nice and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay, and the value for money was excellent. We'll be back.

We stopped by today by chance for lunch and it was a very pleasant surprise. The owner was very kind and courteous, very helpful in making us comfortable with my mother in the wheelchair. The young woman serving us was also very kind and courteous. The food was all delicious. I recommend the burrata crostini. They're special. The price is right. The place is quaint and well-kept. I'd give it 6 stars if it were possible.

28/02/2026: Spectacular place, I've never had such good prosciutto. I recommend the house antipasto, the cured meats are nothing short of excellent. Lots of freshly made first and second courses, top-quality ingredients. Absolutely wonderful! And I forgot about the wine cellar, which really amazed me. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!
03/02/2026: A restaurant where you can enjoy quality traditional dishes. The starters were very good, with a good selection. The meat was well-cooked and juicy. It's perhaps one of the few places where you can choose your pizza crust: classic or Neapolitan. I have to say the Neapolitan crust is very good, and the ingredients are high quality. Overall, a good restaurant. The service was very friendly and welcoming. I'll be back.

08/03/2026: Yesterday, March 7, 2026, we arrived in Castiglione del Lago. We weren't sure where to eat, and by chance we found this restaurant. We called and booked a table for two. When we arrived, we were greeted by a waitress named Ludovica. She was extremely polite, kind, and above all, very professional, and knew exactly what to recommend. We ordered a house appetizer, a first course: Pici al ragù (a type of pasta) and Pici al cacio e pepe (a type of pasta typical of Rome). This was a very strange choice, considering it's a Roman type of pasta. She also recommended a local sparkling wine (excellent) and a bottle of water. 1 coffee for the modest sum of €47.00. I have to be honest: we ate divinely, everything was delicious, in fact, we promised ourselves we'd absolutely return as soon as we're in the area. A heartfelt compliment goes to Ludovica, the waitress who served us. Everyone is very kind. I highly recommend it. Daniele
