Just one word?! WOW...but obviously my opinion wouldn't be perfect, so I'll explain it this way: Service like no other, remarkable customer care and passion, have added a fun and lively touch to the entire experience. Fresh, high-quality, refined, and at the same time, as natural as possible food, without too many frills but adding that "spicy" kick that fish in tomato sauce deserves! The house wine and liqueurs are TOP! The setting is impeccable and clean, noticeable wherever you look, the smell of cleanliness blending with the unmistakable aroma of good food!!! Many, many, MANY compliments to EVERYONE! Come, we'll definitely be back!

If you want a seafood meal without the fuss, this is the place for you: simple, no frills. I opted for the tasting menu, which costs €36 and includes everything—water, coffee, dessert, and service charge. I must say I was surprised; I thought it was just the food. I couldn't eat everything, so I had to take the last few courses away. The only dish I wasn't sold on was the gnocchi, but otherwise, everything was fine.

A weekday lunch with a dear friend. A welcoming restaurant with a splendid view of Lake Trasimeno, a wide selection of dishes, especially seafood, and courteous and unobtrusive service. Very generous portions that can be divided for multiple tastings. The appetizers, both hot and cold, were excellent. The first courses were amazing, especially the spaghetti with scampi! For me, the fried fish deserves a special mention: superb, crispy and dry. The restaurant is always crowded, so it's best to book. Overall, a positive review. My only suggestion would be to freshen up the space with lighter colors on the walls and furnishings. The quality/price ratio is excellent, and it's definitely an experience worth repeating!

This was an extraordinary experience on so many levels. The food is perfectly prepared, the ambiance is utterly superb as it sits on a hill on Lake Trasimeno in all it's glory. The menu offers Italian specialities from the sea...my favorite. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. If you want fresh seafood...authentic Italian at super great prices and generous portions...then you owe it to yourself to visit this phenomenal Ristorante Da Massimo! It came highly recommended by my precious friend Lucia (who lives within walking distance) mother to my precious cousin Emanuela Cacchiata and her precious husband Emanuele Amoni. I knew that it would be a 5 Star Ristorante because they know excellent food and are well traveled. This place feeds the soul....and pleases the palette. Congratulations to Chef and Proprietor Massimo, we send huge hugs from USA...until we meet again!

We've been enjoying excellent dinners at the "Da Massimo" restaurant for over 20 years. Delicious dishes, cooked with love and carefully presented, excellent service, and a stunning location with a breathtaking view of Lake Trasimeno. Congratulations to Massimo, the chef, Maurizio, Lorenzo, and Manuela, who, with their expertise, manage to bring the sea to Umbria!

I've been to so many restaurants, but this one is definitely my favorite! One of a kind, comfortable and welcoming, with knowledgeable and professional staff, always ready to please. Their seafood dishes are top-notch! The view of the lake is breathtaking! I absolutely recommend it to anyone. I'll be back very soon!
