Restaurant with beautiful view of the lake, abundant food at reasonable prices

Luckily, we found this lake-view restaurant at Massimo's. The service is professional, you can tell right away, and the place is clean and well-organized. It's been a while since I've eaten such carefully prepared and fresh fish, and let's not forget we're in the middle of Umbria. My wife and I will definitely be back for dinner every day we're in the area. There's a wide selection, both meat and especially fish. The grilled scampi were plentiful and fresh, and the spaghetti with scampi was simple, al dente, lightly seasoned, and delicate. The portions arrived so large that we had to share them between two, given the amount of food. The baked sea bream with potatoes and olives was freshly prepared with just the right amount of waiting; it was worth it. The desserts weren't extensive, but we certainly didn't come here for dessert. In short, if you're not a keyboard snob and appreciate good food without unnecessary frills, I highly recommend this place, not to mention the price is practically lower than a regular pizzeria. I highly recommend it.

Wir waren nicht das erste Mal bei Da Massimo. Aber es überrascht uns immer wieder, wie vorzüglich die Speisen zubereitet werden. Es ist keine Haubenküche, sondern eine ehrliche, wohlschmeckende Küche, detailliert aufgetragen. Auch die Weinauswahl ist sehr ordentlich. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam; wir waren also rundum zufrieden!
