Beautiful experience in this small restaurant at the foot of the famous bastion. A special mention goes to the staff and the owner, all very kind, helpful, not intrusive and with a "maniacal" care in a good sense for the customer and for his experience. It was really an experience, we started with a tasting of appetizers for three accompanied by various types of myrtle, walnut and raisin bread, all homemade (spectacle), followed by a tuna tartare and a very tender picanha both enriched with truffle served on the plate at the moment, a fillet of Prussian heifer with spectacular calvados, tasty and well-balanced in flavors. I apologize if I am not as good at describing the dishes as the staff would, who are very well prepared in this sense. I would like to make a special compliment for the desserts, I usually never have dessert at the restaurant because very often the care that is put into the main courses is not put into practice in the desserts, instead here I tasted some of the best desserts tried in a restaurant, pardula semifreddo, three chocolates with salted caramel heart and a nougat semifreddo with exquisite strawberry sauce. The price was excellent considering a bottle of wine, water, coffee and quality passito, for me a Michelin star experience to try.

I can't say enough good things about the lunch we had here. Absolutely one of the top meals we have ever had and my husband and I love to travel and eat. From the very start we felt welcome and while the restaurant is upscale it never felt stuffy, the service was warm and perfectly paced. The food is creative and there's clearly a focus on working with quality seasonal ingredients. And Marino himself is so friendly and lovely. We cannot wait to return and would love to do the full tasting menu when we come back.

Excellent taste experience. Refined environment, accurate service, original proposals (the only place that offers me 4 types of sugar for coffee, all suggestive). Attentive, prepared staff. Very high quality food cooked with high culinary ability. Marino is the perfect host. To visit and appreciate. It deserves all the stars available. One of the best in Cagliari and Sardinia.

The place is really special, but the food and service are excellent, the only so-so dish is the dentex alla acqua pazza, a little dry, price in line with the raw material and the service.

Definitely 5 star service, description of each dish impeccable with courtesy, professionalism and also a pinch of friendship and not taking yourself too seriously. 5 stars together with desserts, main courses and side dishes. The pasta was the only thing that did not fully meet expectations but still everything was highly appreciated.

I feel bad giving them 4 stars but unfortunately our experience did not warrant a 5-star review. We liked the atmosphere and loved the service. The tuna tartare was very tasty and different from the more acidic versions we had elsewhere and the desserts were amazing. However, the pumpkin ravioli that I ordered was very bland and all I could taste besides the truffle was the dough. The seafood spaghetti was a better choice but it did not meet our expectations either. I'd go back but would not order the pasta dishes.

Veramente particolare, buona location curata finemente, buono il servizio dove il collaboratore di sala era costantemente al fianco del tavolo, direi ottima la cordialità e la cortesia. Pietanze molto elaborate, destinate a una clientela di nicchia che predilige sapori particolari e non tradizionali. Concludendo direi che il cliente deve esser predisposto al tipo di cucina offerto, ma nel complesso la giudicherei buona.
