A wonderful place with very warm and friendly staff and great food. Really good chicchetti. My favorite were the zucchini flower bite and the anschovies gorgonzola bite.

We stumbled upon this place for lunch today. With so many options, we chose this one because it had a good menu and there wasn't anyone crowding the door. It's so good that people practically walk right in. We loved it—generous portions, delicious food, and fantastic tapas. And the waiter was incredibly friendly. I highly recommend it!

A little disappointing compared to the reviews. The cicchetti were nothing special, slightly below average. The meatballs were decidedly greasy and heavy. We won't be back.

Luca and Fred's Cicchetteria Venexiana was the first stop on our bacaro tour of Venice.
It's about a 10-minute walk from Santa Lucia station, and we decided to start here before heading to the Jewish Ghetto and then Fondamenta dei Ormesini.
At this bacaro, you must try the dischi volanti, which are made like paninis, but instead of bread, there are two discs of fried eggplant stuffed with cured meats and cheeses.
Overall, all the cicchetti here are very good, from the classic crostini to the breaded and fried meatballs.
There is plenty of seating both inside and outside.
