Da Jacopo In Milano

We arrived at the 7pm opening and were very well received (one of the two waiters spoke English, luckily for us...). The dishes are great (the primi are generous), the pasta is excellent. The waiters are very friendly. The cola at €3 in the restaurant is honestly unheard of. The restaurant is perfect for dinner.

I highly recommend it. A restaurant with the soul of a true restaurateur who takes care of his guests. Everyone at the table was satisfied. Absolutely decent prices. And top quality!

I wanted to try this place after watching the Foodish episode about "cacio e pepe" because it's not far from me: I ordered the troccoli all'amatriciana. I personally love amatriciana with short pasta, but I have to say the pairing is perfect. I'll definitely be back for some Roman pasta in Milan!

Neither good nor bad, food is good enough, service could be improved, ok if you are not in a hurry and the hamburger modification is better to specify a couple of times. High price if you consider the size of the portions and that there is no particular research (eg. The bun is entry level). Prices above average

As visitors to Milan, my husband and I did not have a reservation or know exactly where to go for dinner. We arrived here a little earlier than their kitchen was probably ready for, but we were welcomed in anyway and immediately given a seat and a talk through the menu. As an Australian with a French husband, our maître d' was happy to chat and we exchanged stories and laughs, he was fabulous. We ordered the cotoletta alla Milanese and the gnocchi with gorgonzola sauce, both were superb and they gladly gave us side plates to share our meals with each other. The Pecorino wine (I sassi) was lovely too, for anyone seeking a fresh, dry white wine without too much acidity. 10/10 for ambiance, service, food & drink, and a menu to suit all tastes. Grazie mille!

Tried for a business lunch, great place with a good menu. Good and well-prepared dishes, also fair price.

Finalmente una cacio e pepe a Milano che può chiamarsi tale!

Ambiente informale ma molto accogliente in zona Porta Vittoria, Jacopo e suo padre simpaticissimi, piatti della cucina romana ottimi a cominciare dalle puntarelle per finire con la cacio e pepe e la carbonara, entrambi degni di nota👍! Da tornarci sicuramente alla prima occasione…se non altro per provare anche l’amatriciana e a detta dei più pare sia spettinevole🤪!

The place is as welcoming as its owner, the staff are friendly, the food is excellent, and the prices are fair. I'll definitely be back when I'm in Milan again.
