Typical Venetian restaurant with a friendly atmosphere and impeccable service. The dishes are OK but expensive. This is not our best restaurant in Venice but if you are looking for authenticity you are in the right place.

Booked this spot as a recommendation from the hotel. Nice restaurant tucked away from the most crowded areas. Very nice and intimate setting w cosy decor but probably not popular with the locals (filled w mostly US tourists). Food was excellent though with a good selection of wine. Service was very attentive and polite. Check out specials of the day.

We recently had an unforgettable dinner at Ristorante Da Ivo, and I can't praise the experience enough! The lobster pasta, prawn and asparagus salad, and Branzino were all cooked to perfection, showcasing authentic Italian flavors in a quaint and charming setting. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented, making for a truly memorable meal. Ivo was the keystone of our stay in Venice!

Delicious food in a lovely setting. The staff is serious about their work but do a very good job. Worth a visit but you may need a reservation.

29/07/2024: Finally a restaurant that is worth the prices and also deserves 5 stars. The little artificial garden they have as indoor seating is great and there also is a playground for kids right next to it. The staff was very nice to us but managed to confuse our order and then haven't we checked the receipt we'd also pay for the mistake, hence just 4 stars for service. The food was greaaat, that is all that needs to be said. We paid 188€ for 8 people
27/07/2024: Great place less touristic than it looks. Try the luiguine all’ Nero di seppia! I came for pizza but got tempted by a more Venetian specialty. Great place for lunch on the way to the beach. Staff very professional. Would definitely come again.

07/12/2024: Ho sempre trovato molto difficile mangiare bene a Venezia, ma da Mario alla Fava tutto è stato altamente delizioso. Io ho mangiato pesce e il mio compagno ha provato il menù vegano. Tutto è curato nei minimi particolari, il servizio è impeccabile e il gusto è qualcosa che difficilmente dimenticherò, soprattutto lo scorfano! Ringrazio molto della bellissima esperienza!
