We were visiting a friend and he took us to Giannino, the staff was very courteous, we were really at ease. The place is very nice but the cuisine is what enchanted us. We hope to return soon

A trattoria at its best. The Antipasto di mare is a taste explosion with lots of small bites. The Maccheroni alla norma is simply fantastic. The service was excellent.

Favolosa pausa culinaria con una pasta con uova di pesce spada lime e gamberoni profumata a distanza . Accoglienza, gentilezza, gusto siciliano ne fanno una tappa fondamentale da non saltare

Wir sind auf Empfehlung eines Keramikhändlers hier eingekehrt. Es haben im Februar noch viele Restaurants geschlossen. Dennoch ist dies eine Art Geheimtipp. Vorspeise, Erster Gang und Nachtisch sind sehr lecker. Der Service in diesem Familienbetrieb ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Selten ist die Vielfalt der Seifen im sehr sauberen "Bagno". In unseren Augen ist "Da Giannino" ein Geheimtipp in Santo Stefano di Camastra. Buon appetito

11/08/2024: Enchanting location, with terrace overlooking the Gulf of Taormina. Truly excellent quality food, generous portions, prices not exactly within everyone's reach but commensurate with the quality. Friendly staff. Although it is difficult to reach and there is no parking except in the streets below, it is absolutely worth it!
07/08/2024: One of the best dining experiences we had in Sicily. We called for a last minute reservation and were happy we could be accommodated. Food was delicious, fresh and a fair price for a restaurant in Taormina. Fantastic view of Taormina and the ocean below and Castelmola above…and a great lava show from My Etna in the distance once the sun had set. But what put the experience above others was the staff, who were all friendly, courteous and more than accommodating to a family with 2 little kids. Our only regret was only dining there once during our stay.
