A high-quality restaurant in Santo Stefano di Camastra with a good selection of food. Depending on the season, the fettuccine with porcini mushrooms is excellent. Impeccable service and a good value.

I ate at this place and what can I say? 5 stars is the right rating for an excellent lunch and an equally top-notch dinner. I recommend it to anyone who is in the area.

Trattoria in Santo Stefano di Camastra with traditional Sicilian dishes that are truly worthy of note, both in terms of food and preparation: sardines al beccafico
tasty and light, mezze maniche with a
swordfish sauce, and Aeolian-style swordfish, truly delicious and generous.
All served in a family-friendly atmosphere, enjoyed by many international guests as well. And I believe it! A good glass of Grillo at the table. Fairly priced, but not cheap.

Our table got maccheroni, veal rolls, and pasta with swordfish. We had to ask twice for the cheese topping and our plates came out greatly staggered. It's not much on ambience but it's ok. Some of the staff were really nice and some were ok. No dessert and like most sit down places in Italy there's a 2.50 euro cover charge. I'm not in a hurry to return but I also wouldn't avoid it.

The restaurant is very nice. The food is fantastic. However, you have to be careful to ask how much the "catch of the day" costs per kilo.
We had a wonderfully fresh fish, but it cost us €200. Even the wine with dessert was much cheaper in comparison. Other restaurants state in their menus that you should ask for the price per kilo. I didn't see that here, and we were surprised.

Ho cenato in questo locale con la mia ragazza. Peccato per i primi che non abbiamo potuto assaggiare poiché ci è stato comunicato che a causa di un guasto al bollitore non potevano essere preparati. Cena molto nella media per chi è abituato a mangiare pesce nei ristoranti, niente di speciale. Il piatto di antipasti buoni ma troppo costoso per quello che abbiamo mangiato ( 20€ per poco pesce e tutto cotto, nessun crudo), fritturina mista e insalata pantesca buoni ma niente di che. Ci ha piacevolmente sorpreso il tonno con la cipolla, buono e ben cucinato. Nel complesso cena nella media e conto troppo salato per ciò che abbiamo mangiato. Personale gentile.

We were recommended to Da Giannino from one of the ceramic shops as we had gone to Santo Stefano di. Camastra to buy pasta bowls.
The restaurant was attractive and clean and had a real family feel to it. After staying in Palermo for the previous week it was a refreshing change from the “Tourist “ restaurants and we were the only English people in there! The food was amazing, delicious with generous portions and prices extremely reasonable. We will definitely return when we’re next in the area.
