We were traveling by car from Como to Verona and stopped in Bergamo and just happened to stop at this restaurant for lunch, arguably one of the best meals for me on our three week trip. Excellent food and service. The sea bass was perfect.

It's a busy restaurant so we booked ahead. It was very busy when we arrived, but the staff are so efficient you don't notice it. It was our last dinner in Città Alta and Da Franco was more than up to it. Happy to meet, sorry to part.

Ravioli with perfectly prepared meat drizzled with well-seasoned olive oil. Sage complemented the flavor. The white tablecloths attracted us. My friends loved the Carbonara, and the ravioli were the best I've ever had.

Ci sono stato con la famiglia e devo dire che il cibo era di ottima qualità ed abbondante, la location molto bella ed i camerieri molto gentili e veloci. Lo consiglio vivamente!!!

Ottimo cibo, personale gentile e ottima location. La pasta era buonissima e il vino della casa anche! Ci tornerei. Nonostante fosse affollato non è mancata l’attenzione al cliente.

01/09/2025: One of the best burgers I've ever eaten! Highly recommended.
01/09/2025: Personally, one of the best burgers in Bergamo, in a "bar" right in the center. Paid parking is available on the street and nearby, but it's free from 7:00 PM until morning. There's seating for about fifty, and during the summer, you can also sit outside on the sidewalk in a designated area. Excellent service, but personally, it's too dark. Highly recommended!
