Da Adolfo In Positano

The boat transfer is a mini trip in itself and a nice way to see Positano and the surrounding area from the water. A nice beach for swimming. In my opinion they shouldn't charge extra for their deck chairs, but the Italian's overcharge for every possible opportunity, which they should improve upon. We had a few different grilled seafood dishes and they were excellent. The side of grilled vegetables was small. Overall a nice day out. It's a minimum half day activity as the return only starts from 4 pm.

Delicious food. Friendly and fun service. Wonderful location. The lemon tiramisu was divine. The best I've ever had, very light. Personally, I don't appreciate the lack of prices on the menu. The drinks at the bar were very good. The bartender was friendly and courteous. Overall, the atmosphere was great for a different kind of day.

Always a favorite for Positano!

Unique and fun! The restaurant is very good because the food is excellent, the waiters are great fun and the atmosphere is soooo Italian. There were locals having a ball in big groups feasting and loving life. Almost everyone are dressed in swimmers. So casual. The boat ride from Positano was great fun.

I arrived by sea, the arrow immediately welcomed us to couple up on their pier, for those who want to eat directly on the beach, delicious fresh fish

My best advice would be, if you are staying somewhere that does not have a beach or pool, the chairs would be worth the money. For us, we are staying at a hotel which has their own beach club & pool, so the chairs weren’t an enhancement to our trip. The food is absolutely worth the trip. We had melon with prosciutto, grilled mozzarella on lemon leaves, branzino fish & clam linguine- all fabulous. The free shuttle is a little odd as it stops running from 1pm - 4pm. We went over on the 11am shuttle, sat on the chairs for 2 hours, went to lunch and called a private water taxi to bring us back to our hotel. I would go again, but only for lunch.

Hands down my family’s favourite restaurant and experience on the Amalfi coast! We’ve been back three or four times over the years and never miss a trip to Da Adolfo (sometimes two!). Great food! Amazing atmosphere! Very relaxed vibe! And staff are always so warm and friendly. If you’re in Positano, don’t pass up the chance to get a water taxi here - it’s more than worth the trip!!

The boat driver is a bit cranky, as are a few of the staff to be frank, but dealing with tourists all day all summer long must get frustrating. Having said this, the food and atmosphere are second to none. Underrated food, was absolutely pleasantly surprised. Zuppa de cozze are an absolute 10/10 as are the spaghetti condole and the viral mozzarella on lemon leaf. Just go, deal with the shit show at Positano port, and enjoy the hell out of your day! Be sure to go as early as possible to avoid the madness at the port once day trippers start arriving…9:30/9:45 arrival to port is the sweet spot!

Fantástica experiencia y comida fantástica - usted debe hacer esto! Reservar en línea era simple. Todas las instrucciones e instrucciones eran claras y fáciles de seguir. Recogida en barco dedicada desde el muelle principal de Positano a partir del 10 : 00 a 13: 00 , muy fácil de localizar. El menú es genial y la comida maravillosa. A pesar de su ubicación la comida, y las bebidas, son excelente relación calidad-precio. Todo el personal era maravilloso. No puedo recomendar este lugar lo suficientemente alto. No solo vayas a almorzar, haz del almuerzo una excusa para una experiencia fabulosa.

Debido al mar agitado, el taxi acuático fue cancelado el día de nuestra reserva, pero después de un poco de deliberación decidimos ir en taxi al hotel San Pietro (creo que ese es el nombre) y caminar desde el camino que comienza en el estacionamiento del hotel. A pesar de la marea muy alta pudimos utilizar tumbonas, junto a otras cuatro almas aventureras que decidieron hacer la caminata hacia abajo. Estábamos muy emocionados por tener una porción especial de playa lejos de las multitudes, pero terminamos siendo impresionados por nuestro delicioso almuerzo y excelente vino local. El personal era muy amable y nos hizo reír. Espero que nuestra experiencia fue muy diferente de lo que sería en un día tranquilo durante la temporada alta (que probablemente se siente como una gran fiesta), pero aún así fue un punto culminante de nuestro viaje.
