In Oristano for the first time, having a technological daughter, I ask her to find a restaurant for a quiet dinner without frills. Here comes the recommendation for Banana Craft. In the heart of Oristano on the pedestrian street, some very well-placed tables along the street with a simple but elegant table setting, tables inside where you can breathe in the history of a large family of restaurateurs: father, mother first, now the two brothers, one chef and the other, Alberto, a fine speaker in describing their history, leads a brigade of excellent waiters attentive and punctual in giving you precise attention to the composition of each individual dish or wine chosen from an extensive menu. Dishes served elegantly with balanced flavors but which individually maintain their own structure. I would say a great, five-star surprise and worth trying even more than once because the price ratio is definitely good, despite the guaranteed quality, truly good and balanced.

Top experience, special food, very polite service and attention to every detail

I had dinner with my family. I must say the owners were very polite and kind. You can tell they have passion. Service was a bit slow, but that's understandable, considering they didn't rush you to clear your table. The atmosphere was very rustic, yet beautiful and comfortable. Excellent wine selection, and above all, I ate well. I didn't give it 5 stars because of the parking issue and the fact that I didn't ask for the donkey to be cooked; it was raw.

Con amici a cena questo locale sembra non a Oristano ma nella city milanese. Un menu troppo preciso con poche modifiche, lista dei vini molto ampia ma tutti cari, alcuni carissimi e a mio parere ingiustificati. Ottimo il servizio. Piatti buoni, porzioni normali, ingredienti di qualità.

Scoperto un po' per caso - in realtà cercavamo una pizzeria in zona - ci è apparso subito molto accogliente e gradevole. Il personale molto sollecito e competente ci ha offerto i giusti suggerimenti e servito alla perfezione. Ottime le pietanze scelte, in particolare i culurgiones con crema di pecorino e tartufo, e il filetto di scottona al porcino. Il conto, congruo per la qualità dimostrata: 93 euro in coppia, inclusi 2 calici di ottimo vino rosso e il caffè. In una parola: impeccabile. Ci torneremo sicuramente appena capiteremo a Oristano.
