16/03/2026: If you find yourself in Greve in Chianti, Antica Macelleria Falorni is a must-see. I've purchased several products there and must say the quality is truly excellent.

08/03/2026: People go to Antica Macelleria Falorni these days just to explore the beautiful surroundings, the artifacts from a bygone era, the hanging cured meats... but not for the food. We ordered a large platter, which should have been for two, for €28: a few slices of prosciutto, two types of salami, and a few slices of the same cheese. The cheeses kept in the cellar are only on display, despite the waitress's assurance that we'd be able to sample several. It's a shame; the place is very beautiful; I've been there many times over the years, but now the prices are truly outrageous.
