We stayed for two days in Alba and stumbled upon the Cichin by chance on the first day. Well, unfortunately the next evening it was full and we went to the place next door... we couldn't have made a more wrong choice! If you are passing through Alba, you can't miss out on a stop at Cichin! It is the right place to taste excellent wine, expertly recommended by Nicolò... and enjoy traditional cold dishes prepared with passion, skill and quality, zero-mile products by his enterprising mother, who accompanies the cheese tasting with artisanal compotes made with her own hands and with fruits from her garden. You immediately feel at home thanks to their sincere hospitality! Furthermore, their prices, despite the high quality, are really honest! €55 for two for three starters and an excellent bottle of wine, the price of which is clearly displayed on each bottle! The passion with which they carry out their work is tangible... and for this reason, for us, they are worth much more than 5 stars! Nico at Cichin Vin e Crije Alba gave us a fabulous rundown of the wines from the region. Without asking he produced 3 big map boards and explained the whites & reds we were drinking & where they were from. An amazing host, very knowledgeable, we had a great time!

Io e mia moglie, dopo aver fatto un aperitivo prima pranzo, siamo rimasti talmente colpiti da ritornare la sera per mangiare. Il locale è stupendo con il suo stile, la scelta dei vini è ampia e non si limita a quelli locali. Il proprietario spiega perfettamente la provenienza e le caratteristiche di ogni vino, rendendo l’esperienza unica.
