After three weeks of traveling, I was craving an excellent meal that was not only beautifully prepared but also gentle on the stomach. This place delivered in swords. Nice ambience if you can sit outside (we had to "force" it because there was a risk of rain...but it didn't rain). The couple running the place seems rather assertive and uncooperative, the other service was very friendly. We didn't become repeat offenders...

At the "Chimera" restaurant the welcome was impeccable, with kind and attentive waiters. The food is of excellent quality, well prepared and carefully presented. However, the prices are a little higher than average, even if the overall experience remains pleasant thanks to the service and the refined atmosphere.

Volevamo trascorrete una serata romantica e ci siamo riusciti. Tutto perfetto, dalla cucina al servizio. Vista meravigliosa, e che luna. Il pianista, rivelatosi grandioso, è riuscito a dare, alle svariate melodie da lui suonate, colori, freschezza e tanta personalità con arrangiamenti SUPER (Beatles, Sting etc). Ha accompagnato la nostra cena, in modo strepitoso, la musica migliore che abbiamo sentito a Lipari. È stata la nostra migliore serata. Ci rivedremo il prossimo anno (pianista incluso). Posto incantevole e molto grazioso,personale cordiale e molto attento. La cucina ha ampiamente superato le nostre aspettative. Un complimento con lode merita il pianista, esecuzione dei brani magistrale e tutto arrangiato da lui, che non è roba da poco. Ci ha travolti e stupiti. Serata indimenticabile lo straconsiglio. The location is appreciable though the view is partly hidden by plants. The music was nice indeed. The service was kind although the tables just left were not settled immediately. The wine bucket was left near the ladies. About food, the dishes presentation was fine, ingredients were good, sometimes too tasty eg. ravioli di cernia with cappers, calamari and risotto with too much tomato. It's recommended too choose carefully.

Excellent dinner but above all very kind and attentive staff. Compliments!

This restaurant was recommended by the hotel we were staying at. However, it was a little bit disappointing. The food was tasty but way too expensive for what it was. The tuna still had a tendon in it which made it difficult to chew. The service was excellent and we were helped quickly. We sat on the terrace and had a beautiful view of the sea sunset. There was live music playing on the terrace with a keyboard and a box. Only sometimes the music got a little too loud and sometimes we couldn't even hear each other.
