What can I say? A beautiful location, kind and friendly staff, especially the maître d', who is very professional and helpful. He listens to you and then advises you based on your preferences. I must say we've always had a great time, thanks in part to the beautiful, relaxing and discreet atmosphere.

I ordered the squid ink gnocchi (€24). I was expecting a normal portion, but there were 3 of them, damn it. I recommend adding the number 3 to the menu, gnocchi 3.

Chimera is a restaurant with an adjoining, refined 4-star hotel. It enjoys a spectacular location, overlooking the beautiful Aeolian Sea and the castle of Lipari. The cuisine is a true delight: fresh, top-quality ingredients, expertly crafted with care, deliver truly delicious dishes. The staff in the dining room are kind, helpful, and well-directed by their maître d'. The pianist, as a musician, with his fluid, precise touch, but above all, with his masterfully modulated dynamics, managed to create a sublime, enchanting atmosphere. He gifted us with wonderful pieces, from Queen, Abba, the Beatles, Morricone, and more. A generous and challenging piano concert that we followed and appreciated with great admiration, savouring even more the excellent delicacies of the cuisine. Thanks to you, Chimera staff, management, kitchen, and dining room, for a wonderful adventure, one we will certainly repeat. A special thanks to Pino for the completely unexpected, dreamlike evening and for the much-appreciated musical dedication, "THE GODFATHER," so fitting and moving, it touched our hearts deeply. ♥️ We highly recommend it. A very good restaurant. As non Italian speakers, sometimes difficult to get the service we want. Very friendly & knowledge owner/manager. We chose to order starters, and the rest later. They were v accommodating. We asked for local wine recommendations, the white & red both excellent. A lovely terrace, a thoroughly good evening. Thank you

During our stay in Lipari, we had the pleasure of dining in a seafood restaurant with a breathtaking view of the sea: a place that enchants you even before you sit down at the table. The cuisine is a true hymn to the Mediterranean: dishes of the freshest seafood, prepared with care and creativity, capable of enhancing the authentic flavors of the island. Each course was a surprise, from the appetizer to the dessert. A big round of applause goes to the waiters, professional, attentive and always smiling. They made us feel welcomed like old friends. A special thanks to the maître, who with elegance and kindness guided the evening with a discreet but constant presence. But what made the experience truly magical was the live music: Pino on the piano gave real emotions. With his talent and his humanity he created a unique atmosphere, transforming a simple dinner into a precious memory. A fantastic person, as well as an extraordinary musician. Highly recommended for those looking for good food, a dream view and a touch of poetry.

Abbiamo degustato ben dieci piatti tutti ispirati da prodotti locali. Qualità altissima. I nostri ospiti sono rimasti entusiasti. Inoltre abbiamo bevuto una eccellente selezione di vini della cantina Garavaglio con il patron che descriveva i vini. Da sottolineare l’attenzione ai dettagli da parte dello chef.
