Very nice and intimate place. I tried it in the evening and found everything to be of a medium-high level. Excellent service with trained and capable staff. Very good and well presented dishes. The only flaw is the tablecloths, I didn't find them very nice, otherwise everything was really good. Highly recommended

Era da un po’ che mancavano da questo locale essendoci trasferiti da Milano e con la famiglia diventata più grande. Ora che nostra figlia è cresciuta abbiamo voluto approfittare delle proposte regionali per il sabato a pranzo e tornarci questa volta tutto insieme. Beh che dire la qualità e la presentazione del cibo sono rimaste come le ricordavamo squisite, il servizio cortese ed attento (un grazie speciale alla Signora Francesca) insomma un’alchimia che ha conquistato anche nostra figlia. Nel giro di un mese siamo già tornati due volte. Speriamo di vederci presto!

I've been going there for many years, both for lunch and dinner, and everything is always exceptional. Each dish is taken care of down to the smallest detail. Francesca and her staff are fantastic.

Esperienza contraddittoria alla trattoria moderna di Sadler; niente da dire sul menu’ degustazione, piatti ben presentati, di buon equilibrio, realizzati con ottima materia prima. Il servizio, di contro, ha lasciato molto a desiderare. Accoglienza molto fredda e poco attenta (i cappotti sistemati dietro alla sedia, oltre che diminuire la comodità della seduta, risultano sgradevoli alla vista); presentazione dei piatti assente (al tavolo affianco al mio e’ stata fatta da una signora che, per sfortuna, non ha seguito il mio), abbinamento dei vini non sempre condivisibile e soprattutto versati nel calice senza nessuna, pur minima, presentazione. Da un ristorante, comunque, da 100 euro a persona, è lecito aspettarsi di più.

An environment that has very little that is chic and a service that has very little that is quick. Upon arrival our table was not ready despite a reservation, but preparing it only required moving glasses and cutlery from another free table. After sitting down we waited at least 10 minutes for them to bring us the menus (on paper) and the list of wines and beers (on tablet). The only craft beer on the list was unfortunately not available. After taking our orders we were brought an entree consisting of a cream puff filled with tuna (this is not a typo) and a mini spritz. The first orders then arrived (now within an hour of our arrival at the restaurant). The raw fish was very good, the orecchiette were decidedly too al dente and the pepper risotto was good, even if there was a herb not listed on the menu. Among the second courses, the low cutlet is very good (less so the high cutlet) and the Luciana-style octopus is good. Among the good desserts, the chestnut semifreddo and the tiramisu in grains (even if it had very little tiramisu), the bitter chocolate soufflé with pistachio cream was disappointing: the pistachio cream was a small green lake, not creamy at all and the soufflé was dry and a bit bland. We were then offered a small glass containing a piece of Colomba dipped in custard. The Bomba Carta bitters were good, which we asked for when we saw them displayed but which were not offered to us (when we asked for a bitters we were offered the usual suspects). Environment with slightly dated furnishings and without a common thread. Service a little slow but above all polemical and pedantic from one of the waiters. Prices perhaps slightly above average.
