An excellent, typical San Giovanni Rotondo trattoria, it follows tradition in its skillful use of simple, high-quality ingredients. A unique place, far removed from the usual restaurant stereotypes... Once upon a time... that's how to describe the flavors we've tasted here. Highly recommended!

A family atmosphere, a rich seven-course traditional antipasto, and orecchiette with turnip greens (out of this world), all at a more than fair price considering the generous portions. Located in the historic center of town, it's much less crowded than the religious area. A must-try!

27/12/2025: What can I say... a truly fantastic experience! We visited this restaurant in December, and despite the season, it was completely packed: that alone speaks for itself. The welcome was warm and professional, the place was very well-kept and pleasant, but the real highlight was undoubtedly the food. Every dish we tried was excellent, prepared with quality ingredients and great attention to detail. The real highlight of the evening? The fusilloni with tuna and eggplant sauce: something indescribable, PHOTOTONIC, a must-try! And can we mention the fried fish? Light, crispy, and incredibly flavorful. A restaurant that wins you over in every way and is truly worth a visit. Highly recommended.
02/12/2025: A traditional restaurant in Vieste, open year-round, with a regular staff. Not a tourist trap, our favorite restaurant for 30 years. The Box 19 appetizer is very special and generous, enough for three people. The Amativo red wine is excellent and as cheap as online. Thanks to Matteo, the owner.
