Cesare In Milano

I entered the store at opening time at 19:00 without a reservation. It was a charm that the store had just opened and the air conditioner wasn't working yet. The mom and the bearded waiter (maybe her son) were very friendly and willing to help with menu options. 🥘Seafood frites (crunchy squid and shrimp, lightly fried, so you can eat as much as you want) 🍝Spaghetti Vongole Bottarga (The taste of Bottarga is rich) 🥣Mussel soup (not something like consommé soup, but a strong mussel-flavored soup with the shellfish, and dip the bread in at the end...it's also delicious) 🥩Steak tartare (roughly pounded fresh beef has a great texture and taste) 🫛🍆🥬 Grilled vegetables (I thought I ordered a salad, but it was grilled zucchini, eggplant, and slightly bitter cabbage?) This was mixed with olive oil, rock salt, and a squeeze of lemon, and it was simple but delicious. It was hot, so first we had beer (chilled) and then the recommended white wine (chilled). I forgot to take a photo, but Dolce also had tiramisu and panna cotta (they were pretty hard) €150 for three people It was a satisfying dinner. I will come again when I come to Milan.

We feel right at home here. Really good pizzas and super friendliness of the owners. You can see they put their heart into it, we need more places like this in Milan.

Ci siamo fermati per cenare velocemente prima di assistere ad un concerto . Personale cordiale, buono il panino e servizi igienici puliti. Peccato non essere di strada perché ci saremmo tornati volentieri

First time I visited, and I felt the service was wonderful. Even the appetizer bread was home-made with good taste. Vongole pasta was full of ingredients, cottoletta was well-cooked and large, chips were soft and hot, and tiramisu was excellent. Thank you for the wonderful dinner.

The Milanese cutlet with handle is excellent, much imitated by other improvised restaurateurs and with little success. Prices are normal considering the good food and excellent service.

Frequento il Locale spesso e soprattutto per l'ottima pizzeria e parlando di piatti di mio gradimento con il Sig. Bruno, Direttore, ho saputo che ha lavorato in Spagna e ha imparato a fare la Paella, un piatto a me gradito che mangio sempre quando vado a Barcellona. Ho pensato che sarebbe stato bello trovarla buona a Milano e ho prenotato per la famiglia; è stata una felice sorpresa trovare abbastanza vicino a casa una Paella che non ha nulla da invidiare da quelle che mia figlia, che ormai a Barcellona vive da alcuni anni, mi porta a gustare in ottimi ristoranti. Ho trovato piatti abbondanti con ingredienti freschissimi e cucinati egregiamente, una varietà di crostacei, mitili ed altro veramente gustosa e ben assortita, cottura accurata e sapori finissimi. Complimenti al Sig. Bruno e a tutto lo staff!!
