We liked our room and breakfast but would suggest an exercise room for added value. We chose this hotel for proximity to Metro, and parking (a little $$ & tricky to find it- a few signs indicating -6 level would help). Reception was very helpful and wait staff/chambermaid wonderful!

Everything was wonderful. The location was PERFECT. Besides being close to the central station, it's even closer because it's two stations from two different lines. The breakfast is wonderful. Friendly staff. I liked absolutely everything. The only thing that could be improved is the air conditioning being cooler. I felt a little hot. That's all. A suggestion for guests is the pizzeria across the street, Pizzium. Delicious! And if one day you don't want Italian food, there's a wonderful Japanese all-you-can-eat restaurant nearby, called Gifuto, just a 2-minute walk away. I will definitely return to the hotel. It even deserves more points here 🥰

Here's a detailed, engaging Luxurious Antique Elegance in a Prime Spot – Doria Grand Hotel Delights!
Staying at Doria Grand Hotel was like stepping into a bygone era of grandeur, blended seamlessly with modern comfort. Nestled in one of the most prime locations imaginable—surrounded by bustling streets, iconic landmarks, and easy access to public transport—this hotel sets the stage for an effortless city escape. Whether you're exploring on foot or hopping on a train, you couldn't ask for a better base.
The design is a highlight: opulent and luxurious with stunning antique elements like ornate chandeliers, vintage furniture, and intricate woodwork that whisper old-world Italian charm. Yet, it never feels stuffy—everything's impeccably maintained and inviting.
Rooms are a true retreat: nice, comfortable, and cozy, with all the required facilities you'd expect from a high-end stay. Plush king beds, high-thread-count linens, smart TVs, minibars, and even Nespresso machines awaited us. Bathrooms were spa-like with premium amenities. The fast, whisper-quiet lift made navigating multiple floors a breeze—no waiting around after a full day out.
The staff were the cherry on top—professional, friendly, and attentive from check-in to checkout. They offered personalized recommendations and handled every request with a smile, making us feel truly pampered.
We only sampled the breakfast, but it was exceptional: a lavish buffet with fresh pastries, artisanal cheeses, eggs cooked to order, fresh juices, and that perfect Italian espresso. Quality and variety shone through—no complaints there.
Doria Grand Hotel is a gem for those seeking luxury without pretense. The antique vibe, prime location, and top-notch service make it unforgettable. Highly recommend—5 stars all the way!
**Pros:** Prime location, luxurious antique design, comfy rooms with all amenities, fast lift, friendly staff, excellent breakfast.
**Cons:** Wish we'd stayed longer to try dinner!

all is perfect! Just the breakfast you can forget. Small room with no many things to eat…
It's a 4-star hotel, almost a 5. Top-notch.

The hotel is very average; I find it hard to believe it's actually a 4-star hotel. The rooms clearly need updating; most things look neglected, including the bathroom fixtures. Another downside is the lack of water in the rooms – which is scandalous, as water is readily available in 3-star hotels.
The location is a plus, about a 12-minute walk from Milan Central Station and close to the metro.
The hotel is good for one night, and that's about it – you can simply find something better at this price.

We chose the hotel for a long weekend.
The room was nice, quite clean and relatively soundproof (but you can hear noise from the corridors into the room and the room next door too)
We had a family with a small child here and that was heard more), the size suited us. The only thing that surprised us was that after arriving at the hotel in the evening, there was already lukewarm water, which after being outside and walking around all day, you can't take a warm bath or shower.
It happened twice in a row.
Unfortunately, 4 stars, but there was no free water even at the first welcome, only glasses. We would have expected more.
In the morning, you wait in line for breakfast and then squeeze into a small area where the food counter is.
With such a large hotel (we were on the 9th floor and another one above us), we would have expected it to be solved better.
Location to the metro and parking garage. For us, it was quite ok, but more expensive (30€ per day parking) on the street about 7€ per day. About 2km walk to the center

Milan's Discreet Elegance
Unlike Roman extravagance or the sunny charm of Naples, Milanese elegance is based on sobriety, quality, and a form of "Silent Luxury."

A very good option in Milan. Close to the central train station, a 5-minute walk. Also a 3-minute walk from the Loreto metro station, which takes you to the Duomo. Spacious rooms, comfortable bed, and well-maintained, vintage-style furniture. The hotel bar is outstanding, with reasonable prices, long opening hours, and excellent service from the manager. Full buffet breakfast.
