A lovely restaurant set aside from the main road in Taormina. It had a lovely garden terrace where we had our meal. The meal was delicious. The starter aubergine caponata was incredible, well seasoned and rich in flavour. The bread was served warm with a helping of olive oil and balsamic vinegar- sadly lacking in other restaurants. The main meal was an alla Norma pizza and pasta both well seasoned and neatly balanced. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a meal!

One of my favorite restaurants during my Sicilian vacation.
They serve great local dishes, with quick service and a quiet atmosphere, even though it’s very close to Taormina’s main street.
All the dishes were delicious, but my absolute favorite was the starter: parmigiana. I tried several throughout Sicily, and this one stood out. The aubergines were sliced very thin, full of flavor, with a perfect sauce and just the right amount of cheese.
The caponata was also excellent, and the linguine with red shrimp were fantastic.
Absolutely recommended if you’re in Taormina.

It is an enchanted place where time and thoughts are forgotten.
The food is refined and the prices adequate for the quality. The kindness of the waiters and the courtesy of the owners are truly rare these days, but the restaurant has managed to combine a warm welcome with a refined and delicious menu.
I recommend it dispassionately.
I hope to return very soon.🩷

Leuk restaurant, vriendelijke bediening. Heerlijk witte wijn. Voorgerecht en tussengerecht waren heerlijk. Helaas hoofdgerecht wilde ze al serveren toen we het tussen gerecht nog aan het eten waren. Ze zetten dit bij het koffiezetapparaat achter de bar. Later op onze tafel, De lam was door gegaard onder een lamp en de garnalen ook. Het is goed opgelost. Het blijft een aanrader. Dit kan gebeuren.
