I tried the gnocchi in pistachio sauce with crunchy mortadella, buffalo mozzarella and parmesan: an explosion of flavour! Balanced flavors, perfect textures and a truly unique dish. Absolutely must try! If you are in the area it is impossible not to go

We ate very well, the service knows how to put you at ease and advise you. Generous portions and good food. We took a mixed appetizer from Camilla, a gnocchi with pistachios and a pasta and potatoes with provola. A mixed grill with side dishes and desserts. The price is in line with what we got, not cheap but fair. Advised.

Outstanding food in a casual atmosphere. Pasta with meat was Abruzzo style, we received excellent fresh pasta Al dente with a generous piece of beef braised in the sauce and still on the bone. No unidentified ground meat in this sauce. Sides of vegetables were all fresh and flavorful. In addition to all this they easily accommodated one of our party’s severe food allergies to Milk, cheese, peanuts and tree nuts.

If you want to have real Italian food in a beautiful place you need to go here. I had the Chittara alla Camilla and it was fantastic. Great food, great surroundings and great service.

07/02/2025: L'esperienza al ristorante Materia Prima è stata positiva. Abbiamo optato per il menù degustazione da 7 portate e devo dire che ne siamo usciti più che soddisfatti. Nomen omen mi verrebbe da dire, considerato che tutto quello che abbiamo mangiato rispecchia in toto la qualità dei prodotti. Se devo trovare qualcosa da dire è che il menù degustazione prevede in sequenza portate di terra e subito dopo di mare, cosa che potrebbe non essere gradita a tutti. Ad esempio, nel nostro caso, mangiato il baccalà, nella portata successiva ci è stato servita l'anatra. Forse andrebbe scelto di seguire o un percorso di "mare" o uno di terra, senza commistioni. È un dettaglio, trascurabile probabilmente, al netto del quale mi sento di consigliare vivamente questo ristorante.

02/03/2025: We now consider it our home. Perfect and spotless rooms. Superlative hosts and staff. For food there is no adjective that can fully explain the refinement, the goodness, the refinement without ever losing sight of the Abruzzo flavour.
