The position of this restaurant first drew us to it as we wandered around the town. It is stunningly positioned on the ramparts with views to the distant hills and even the sea. Between lunch and dinner it acts as a bar - and there aren't many better places to have a drink. The menu looked interesting, so we came back in the evening and caught a stunning sunset. We also had some excellent food: four different ages of pecorino with local honey and pepper dip, wild boar stew and Tuscan beef washed down with local red wine, all delicious. The service was friendly and relaxed. Highly recommended.

Very good food. Unbeatable views. We had pici cacio e pepe and porcini mushrooms. Everything was spectacular. Highly recommended.

I discovered this restaurant by chance, a bit far from the center but with a spectacular view in front.
For an appetizer, we had a platter of crostini filled with olive pâté, truffle, mushrooms, sausage and stracchino cheese, tomatoes, and liver pâté.
Then we had two first courses: pappardelle with hare and wild boar ragù. It was good, although we found small pieces of bone in both ragùs, which may indicate a good quality of the ingredients but are slightly annoying when eaten.

Very good pasta and Aperol. Unfortunately, the service was terrible. First, we waited 10 minutes for someone to come over. No one did, so my partner went to ask if they would take our order. Only then did the waitress arrive, muttering something under her breath. She spoke to us in Italian nonstop, and only when we asked her to repeat herself did she speak in English each time she approached us, meaning she already knew we didn't speak Italian. Not a good impression.
